Fine Tooth Comb

I didn't expect to like this comb so much. What's so great about a comb, right? Well I guess I was expecting something lightweight, whittled from tree bark or something. What I received was a beautifully crafted sturdy comb. The perfectly spaced teeth glides through my beard and feels great. Beard grooming is new to me so I've just recently starting using/carrying combs. I've also started misplacing and replacing combs. Needless to say this is one comb I'll be especially mindful not to misplace or lose.

For what it is, I think it is an absolute bargain! Very well made and works wonderfully. Gets my wet hair into position for the application of pomade or mouse. I would gladly buy it again.

This is a nice comb. People always ask me, "Is that your comb?". I say "Yep. That's why it's in my pocket.".

It’s actually a great comb. Use it every day. But when I initially received it. It smelled so disgusting. The smell only went away permanently when I began using it in the shower with shampoo in my hair. I’m a mechanic so while at work there’s a lot of. Smoke and dust in the hair. And when you use pomade like i do. It’s important to get wash your hair out properly. After the nasty smell of this comb had went away permanently. I now keep it in an Drawer next to all my other toiletries and it’s great. Use it with some warm water and shampoo and it’ll mitigate the smell.

After I got Covid in 2019 I had a great deal of my hair fall out, so I got very particular about my hair once it started growing back in. After doing some reading as to boar bristle and other low damage types of hair care, I started looking for a bone brush and finally settled on this one. I have to say it is one of my favorite acquisitions now. I have never been able to just comb straight through my hair after waking up until I got this comb. The horn is sturdy and the handle is very smooth and well-made; it is hard to tell from pictures how sturdy something is but the comb is heavy and durable. I accidentally got the handle fully soaked in the sink, so much so that the wood turned black- it dried without cracking and is still as smooth as anything. The wood is fragrant but not strong. It reminds me of the combs my grandmother used to have. Glad I decided on this one!

I really like this comb’s sturdy feel. I tend to snap my combs in half after a while of using them but this one is much thicker and will last much longer I believe. I also very much appreciate the lack of static in my hair with this comb. I live in a very dry climate and static has been an issue with my plastic combs for awhile. The teeth are the perfect sharpness for my scalp. They get through my hair easily but they don’t hurt my head. The wood on top of the comb is beautiful.

Being 70 and having thinning hair at waist length, this comb is the answer. No tangles and really smooth. Just treats my long hair so gentle. I use Redken silky shampoo and have the hair now that I had as a teenager. This comb is a blessing to smooth soft silky hair. Thank you for this wonderful product. Best comb I’ve ever bought. Doesn’t snag as much as cheaper plastic combs.

Beautifully crafted and the handle is just right. The cow horn comb's had a fishy odor when it met the water and I was shocked by the smell at first. But then I googled it and found that it's normal for real cow horn combs to have a smell, it's just that the seller should have stated it in advance so as not to cause any misunderstanding that it's the smell of chemicals.

For eighty years I suffered with static when combing hair. At last Im my declining years I have the answer…..a bone comb.

Ein sehr schöner und hochwertiger Kamm, der ohne Ziepen selbst nach dem Aufstehen durch meine halblangen Locken gleitet. Auch nach dem Waschen im nassen Haar ist das Kämmen damit sehr angenehm. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die Wert auf Qualität legen.

Très bien, démêle bien les cheveux. Bien sûr la matière fait qu'il est plus lourd que le plastique mais ça va très bien, solide.
