Delicious, good protein/calorie ratio, and no insults
I swore off Clif bars in 2016 after they published their Seed Matters cartoon advertisement, which is full of lies and mischaracterizations and is an insult to farmers everywhere. But I still needed to find a tasty protein bar to take with me on my frequent travels. After trying many brands and flavors, I finally found a really great product with the Oatmega bar. This is by far the best flavor - it's not too sweet and it doesn't have that artificial taste of polyols. The sweetness comes from a little bit of sugar, tapioca syrup, and monkfruit. I also want a bar that has a calorie/protein ratio less than 20. At 14g protein in a 200-calorie bar, this fits the bill nicely, and it comes along with 7g fiber as well. Although the fiber content is mainly from the chicory root inulin, so just keep track if you're eating a lot of other things with inulin during the same day. Oatmega are made by Boundless Nutrition, which was acquired by Amplify Snack Brands, which also makes Skinny Pop, Pirate's Booty, Krave jerky, and Paqui chips. Amplify is itself owned by Hershey Foods. Hopefully Hershey lets these Oatmega bars succeed for the good product they are and doesn't follow Clif Bar down the path of scare-marketing and organic industry misinformation.

Great bars with no fake sugar
I like these a lot and have a good taste to me. Although i eat a lot of bars and different brands. I wouldn’t say these bars are my favorite tasting ones all time, but they have a good taste and don’t have that fake taste (no fake sugar)... i hate fake sugar I like my bars to have protein, fat and carbs.. but at the same time ideally lower than 10 grams of real sugar. These have a perfect ratio of each. That is why I enjoy them. They are a bit thick though to bit into, so they kind of taste dry when you bite into them. So if you don’t like that then, you should look at other bars

Good taste, gives gas
I keep these bars in my fridge. Nice little snack that gives energy and tastes pretty good. HOWEVER, these bars will blow out your O-ring if you eat more than one. My butt sounds like a Jake brake at night. If you don't know what that is, picture the sound that a semi makes when it's going down a hill.

Great tasting, for a protein bar.
These protein bars are great!, considering they are a protein bar, that is. They have a sort of nutty/fruity taste to them.. it's sort of hard to pinpoint. The chocolate/peanut butter taste is sort of an after thought. You can taste the oats and a hint of figs more than anything else. The price point isn't bad either, but the bars are rather small. Still, in the world of protein bars, these are highly edible. If you've had other bars, then you already know... most of them taste horrible. These are some of the better ones I've ever had. The macro for protein is sort of low but... honestly, these are still superior to 95% of all of the competitors.

One of the few quality protein bars...
...and of course it’s disappearing. This flavor is now all but gone and prohibitively expensive. Used to be a good value. I think they Must have stopped making them, like so many things that aren’t junk. Not sure why. High quality protein, high fiber and good taste made them my go to morning snack/meal. Sad that I soon probably won’t be able to get any.

Decent tasting bars with balanced macros
I think these bars are pretty tasty (I also like the chocolate mint ones). It’s not like eating candy, or anything, but they taste good. I like the texture, which I guess is from the oats—kind of a little crunchy/chewy. I also like that they don’t have a coating so they don’t melt or squish, and I can keep them in my purse and have them when I need them. And they’re pretty well balanced in terms of fat/protein/carbohydrate including fiber, so they keep me full for a few hours and don’t mess up my clean eating plans.

REALLY FREAKING GOOD! Rather healthy, low sugar and real taste!
I just bought a 4 pack from target, these were fantastic! It has whole peanuts in it and it tasted like a snickers to me! But I do have to say I eat healthy 99% of the time, I consider this decently healthy. If you are a McDonald's person, you know the type, you haven't had fruit that's not in an apple pie, then you may not like it . BTW monk fruit is not a synthetic sugar.....

This bar is good at keeping hunger at bay and the taste is ...
This bar is good at keeping hunger at bay and the taste is pretty good. I probably will not order it again for myself though because it made me uncomfortably gassy. I suppose it is the chicory root in there. I also noticed an aftertaste that I didn't care for. Sort of like a fake sugar aftertaste. I would often eat a piece of gum after eating it. Obviously there are people who like it and don't have these side effects. It may be an individual issue.
