quality item
I used to fry my mushrooms on iron cast frying pan (on water of course!) as a safe alternative to non stick pans. After frying on this pan I've realized that iron cast pan was adding metallic taste to mushrooms. Amazing pan!

Great.
I bought this after using my daughter in laws who had it as a wedding present. It’s great.

Five Stars
The best frying pan in the world, it's totally worth it.

It would get 5 stars if it was half the price...
This pan is great. Allows you to bring professional skills and techniques into the home cooking arena. High temperature meat searing and crusting? Does it easily. Deglazing and easy pan sauce making? That's its middle name. Temperature control without any hassle? You got it. However there are a few caveats: don't expect the shiny chrome colour it comes out of the pan with to last forever. If you want to maintain it you better bring out that old elbow grease (and some barkeepers friend). Mine was only slightly warped out of the box (I'd say within machining limits so not worth the hassle of a return), so be aware that even though you're buying the most expensive pan on this market segment this is still a thing. Also the chrome layer must be very very thin as just setting it in a range cooker with cast iron supports during first use scratched the bottom. Again, I don't mind and I expect metal to behave that way... But don't forget this is a 200£ pan. All in all the pan is clearly built to last a lifetime if you look after it properly. But it's not the miracle pan Internet experts or America's Test Kitchen would have you believe. Is it worth the price they ask for it? Definitely not, it's a piece of treated machined metal built to get very hot repeatedly... So only buy it if you understand you're overpaying or paying for the brand name and you won't be disappointed. If you're skint just look at cheaper carbon steel alternatives or even stainless steel without the All-Clad logo, you'll get the same out of them if you know how to use them for a fraction of the price.

Not as good as Tramontina
Larger frying pan discolouration after first use. Not used smaller frying pan. Food sticks to pan on all heat settings. Lighter weight vs my Tramontina 3ply from Brazil. Will not purchase this brand again. Very disappointed with the amount I spent! Will add pics later.

Most disappointing
I bought one of these because I was fed up with non stick frying pans where the coating starts to flake off very quickly. But everything sticks to this pan like crazy unless you put enough oil in to practically drown the food. So I shall now go back to buying cheap non stick pans and chuck them out and replace when the coating starts to go

After reading many reviews online, I decided to go with All-Clad, and I can see why people say this is one of the best cookware brands. I’ve been using the pans for a week and already love them. The stainless steel feels solid and reliable - no flashy coatings, no mystery chemicals, just straightforward quality. I wanted something that would last a lifetime, and hopefully, these pans will serve me well for as long as I’m around. Compared to all those “nonstick” coatings that claim to be safe but still rely on questionable chemicals, stainless steel feels like the better choice. The only downside: they are expensive.

Looks like it will last forever. It is seamless and doesn't have a welded on steel plate like those found on WMF cookware. Heats evenly.

Light and sturdy build, the heat is pretty even and bring out food flavour!
