The search for the perfect concealer is OVER!
This is, hands down, the BEST concealer I have ever used. It goes on smooth, it melts into your skin and it's buildable without looking cakey or flat-out unattractive(you know what I mean). I've been using SF Salmon Dark Circle Concealer Cream for about three weeks now and I'm just loving the look it gives me at nearly 60. I use a silicone primer all over my face then MAC foundation, while I brush on the SF concealer under my eyes I then move to the lids, just a little and I blend that with my BB sponge, by the time that's finished, the under eye area has nearly blended itself, I just tap lightly and I'm done. Gone are the dark areas! Mine are close to my nose, but those little puffy bags go all the way, I can hide those too! So, I'm in love, love, love with this concealer. Not only is it a fantastic product(IMHO) you get A LOT of product for your dollar. The pot is large and should last a year, when, whither it's gone or not, you should replace it. Mine came well packaged and FAST; I know we all love fast. I only recently became associated with SkinFood products, but the love affair is growing by leaps and bounds, I am finding that SkinFood LOVES mature women's faces, and I love that in a product. But those reviews are elsewhere. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this or any SkinFood product to anyone, including my 92 year old mother. Buy with confidence and thanks for reading this. :-))

salmon dark circle concealer
shipment took long.price was too much for the size, its the size of the picture. only comes in 2 colors. and both the colors are nude. so it did not match my complexion. didnt work that great i gave it to a friend so i wasted 13 bucks on nothing. the only thing good i think about this product is that it may last you long if you dont wear lots of concealer and it covers good thats it.

Perfect color, barely adequate coverage
The item shipped pretty quickly, I received it in just a few days. I have medium tan skin and I typically pick concealers that are a little bit lighter than my skin tone. I was a little nervous that it might be a bit too dark for my taste but I was blown away by how perfectly it matches my skin. If you have medium/tan skin, this will match you perfectly. The coverage is far from perfect. I was happy when I put this product on in the morning, but was disappointed around midday when it had worn off. So, if you have medium skin and are okay with constantly reapplying concealer you will love this product.

Creamy Hydrating Formula Covers Dark Circles Without a Trace
I just received my Skin Food salmon concealer #2. On first use, I have to say it delivers as promised.I am Asian with light/medium to medium skinned with yellow undertones. My eye area has always been a bit darker than the rest of my face but I never struggled with dark circles until after I had a baby--sleep deprivation. Yikes! My circles are greyish (like a mix of blue and brown) in color. At first, I went straight to the Nordstrom Armani counter and had them color match me for a concealer. A teeny tiny tube of yellow-based concealer that matched my skin and cost $40. The coverage was too light. And the yellow base made the grey circles lighter but still visibly grey. Then late one sleepless night, I learned from watching YouTube make-up tutorials that I needed a orangey-peachy colored concealer to counter the dark circles. The guru recommended Eve Pearl salmon concealer. I was hesitant because that was more even expensive than the Armani one I just bought and it got very mixed reviews. Plus the palette came with two colors meant for custom blending. But I hate that kind of palette because I like to keep things simple. And I always end up liking one color more than the other and wind up wasting 50% of what's in the package. Anyway, while researching Eve Pearl, the Skin Food salmon concealer popped up in the search and had amazing reviews. So that is how I came across this product. At only $13, practically drugstore prices, I was willing to give it a try.PROS:1. Slightly orangey/peachy. Enough to cover and counteract dark circles. Not so orange so you end up with a streak of orange under the eyes that will require a second layer of a more skin tone matching concealer. The #2 actually matched me perfectly and I can wear this product alone with nothing else if I wanted to. Remember I'm light/medium to medium skinned with yellow undertones. But because I have that Armani concealer already, I'm layering that one on top to brighten the eye area after I've concealed the dark circles.2. Silky, creamy, hydrating formula with dewy finish. Easily goes on with a makeup brush or finger tips. This has such a lovely texture and very dewy finish. I highly recommend letting the product warm up and sink in to the skin then setting with a sheer and very finely milled setting powder to set. If you don't wait or apply anything too thick or too much (like a powder foundation or too much power) else you might get some minor clumping. It happened to me when I was testing it with all my other makeups and powders but it was nothing noticeable except up close or under magnifying mirror and bright lighting though. If you are leaving your skin natural, then you don't have to set. But if the rest of your face has a satin or matte finish, you have to set this with powder or your under eye area will look shiny in comparison.3. Good coverage and buildable. On first application with my fingers I achieved medium to medium/full coverage. The formula is smooth enough that you can build on more coverage with more product.4. Long lasting. It's now 6 hours since I put it on and still going strong with no touch ups. It looks even better now and more natural than when first applied but my circles are still completely covered. I have no doubt it will still look perfect when I get out of work in 3 hours. Surprising because the formula is so dewy. But it looks great still and I have no dryness under my eyes at all.CONS:1. Not a neutral colored or multi-purpose concealer. This is not really a con but I thought I'd mention it anyway just in case. This is not a neutral colored concealer that is multipurpose. I think people who can get away with neutral concealers have very faint/light blemishes or circles and they don't need full eradication of those blemishes. A neutral concealer will do the job "good enough" with just enough color correction and lightening for people with very minor blemishes and discoloration. For me, this is a very specific concealer for very specific uses. I will use it just for dark circles under the eyes. Because of the color, it is not for covering redness. I tried on some redness around my nose and this does not work for that. It will cover older acne scars that have faded to a greyish brown in color. It won't cover anything that is pink or red. You'll need a green tinted concealer for things like that. If it is too orange for you, you will have to layer another skin-toned concealer or foundation on top. Also, because the formula is dewy, it probably won't be good for anywhere on the face other than under the eyes. Unless you have very dry skin. For the price and how much I'm liking it right now, this is a 4 or 4.5 star product for me. Hope this helps. Happy concealing!

Light or Dark won't solve Dark Circles. Get a Color Chart!!
This product didn't work well for me. I'm a fair skinned African American woman with dark Blue-ish dark circles under my eyes. I got my hands on a Color chart AFTER I ordered this product and was enlighten to see that people with dark purple circles under the eye need to be covered with Yellow or Orange Concealers!! I'm really surprised that companies who sell Concealers & other cosmetics aren't aware of this! Why do they continue to peddle "light" or "dark" Concealers when there's a color chart out there suggesting the color to get when your dark circles are a certain color??? Not all Dark circles are equal. They are not only light or dark! There are different hues in colors as there are bi-racial people. For the record, I tried the Skinfood Dark Circle Concealer Cream #1. Waaay to light!
