NOT ALL THE SAME SELLERS!!!! It makes a difference. JSM is GREAT!
This is the 2ND machine I've purchased from JSM Computers out of Oklahoma. The first was purchased in 2016 and finally kicked the bucket this year. I specifically wanted a machine from them. YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE "SOLD BY." The description remains the same, but since I purchased this machine last week, the SOLD BY has changed THREE TIMES to companies with worse business ratings. I checked this because I was recommending the unit to some friends, and wanted to make sure they purchased from JSM. The pre-purchase response was EXCELLENT with same day and late business hours answers to questions. When I booted the machine and tested the USB ports, a few weren't accepting wired Keyboard and Mouse. I let JSM know and Mark responded very quickly. I was still testing, but I wanted him to be apprised of the situation. I do NOT waste time with the Amazon support. Their solution to any crisis is pack it up and send it back. Instead, I kept testing and after some WIFI and BLUETOOTH adapters were inserted, the supposedly dead USB ports worked, and with the wired mouse and keyboard. The PC came clean... you could not tell how old is is unless you know computers. No noticeable wear or damage. They send a WIFI adapter, and I plugged that in, hooked up the monitor I already had, and it popped up easy as toast. Needed a bluetooth adapter, and once that came, accepted it (TP Link 5.0) without any issues. Did some bluetooth searches for speakers (you will need better speakers) and it found the Oontz Angle 3 and Tozo6 earbuds, without any issues. It's also found my TV, Roku stick, and something I don't know what it is (should probably find out). The machine is fast. Programs pop up fast, downloads are fast, and when I type, it's immediately responsive. Can't say anything about gaming unless you want to talk Angry Birds friends or Solitaire, but for productivity, online browsing, running applications like Scrivener, Libreoffice... It's a great machine for under $200 (I purchased a 3 year protection plan just because which made it $200.) Now if I have issues with it, I'll update this review, so if you don't see any update, it's doing just great. Remember JSM computers sold me this machine and provided pre-purchase support, actually on another two machines, and I ended buying this one. Oh! and I was informed by Mark that the Microsoft Certification that came as a sticker on my last machine is now built into the computer memory/hard drive? and recognized when you go online. I notice a number of reviewers doubting authenticity of software because they didn't see a sticker. Just what I needed for school
I needed to put together a computer for school. I went online to build a computer from older parts, which I thought would be fairly inexpensive. It wasn't. I looked on Amazon and I was shocked to see these discount refurbished computers. For less than half the price, I'm able to get what I was going to build myself. I didn't want windows 11, so this build is perfect for me. It has all the features I need for school and is fast enough to keep up with all my basic needs. Shipping was a bit slow, but when the computer came it was well package and was set up on the day I ordered it (based on Windows time stamps of installs and updates), which explains the slower shipping. If you need a basic computer with no bells or whistles, this is for you. If you want a computer with bells and whistles, this company is still good to go with because they have so many reasonable price options. My only issue with this build is that the computer is built for the case. If I want to upgrade anything other than ram, I'll need to get a new case, but for the price, how can I complain! Pros: Clean computer Fresh install Works well for school

Delivered what they promised, reasonable deal.
This was a refurb, as stated, and was in reasonable shape for what it is. The system was clean of junkware, has a legit version of Win10 installed, and all the hardware they said was in it, was. The SSD was relatively low runtime, per diagnostics. The case had a few dings and scratches, but that's expected of a refurb. It came with a beefy power cable, a new-ish keyboard, and an optical mouse still in it's sealed bag. So why am I dinging it a star? Because they were kind of sloppy on the refurb side. Hardware: It has a new-to-it power supply. I know because it doesn't match the model, lacks the header to hold the front fan shroud in place, and wasn't screwed in, at all. Sliding about half an inch when pushed. Happily it was packed in 15 yards of bubble wrap, so no damage. Despite having replaced the supply (1/4 of the size of the case), the internals had a good amount of dust. How you leave that in, I have no idea, but they did. The wifi usb plugin was garbage, dropped connection about every half hour. It had no driver CD with it, just plugged into the back. After the third failure (and driver updates didn't fix it, RTL $2 module), I tossed it and put my own in, no issues since. Software: Windows was relatively slip-streamed and up to date, which is confusing, because the drivers were not. The bios, display drivers, network drivers, and more were old enough that clicking on them and saying "search for new drivers" saw most of them jump several versions. Hitting the manufacturers site, there were even newer drivers, and a bios update (from A19 to A27). I applied all of them, and it's running *much* smoother. Good price for the hardware. Shipped 4 days after the label was printed, the first "arrives by" day in the time window, just made it inside the delivery window. And working but in a bit of a rough state overall. So, I dinged a star. After typing all this, I'm almost ready to ding it two, but it's working, so... I'm in a good mood.

Great Refurbished Desktop Computer!
Just received my refurbished Dell desktop i7. It's really fast and lots of room on the harddrive for storage. Great value for the money, I don't game but it would be perfect for gaming. Came with a new mouse and Keyboard which was a nice addition. The sound quality was great and the performance after using my i3 for so long. This is almost like a super computer. Look for who rebuilt the computer JSM is the best.
