Blankets themselves are decent quality, each weighing about 1.7 oz. Not the thickest I have owned, but these will do.PLEASE NOTE: There are TWO listings of these same blankets by Amazon. I should have read the item title and description carefully, but I went ahead and paid more for these as I they were bigger. We live where the weather is crazy, it still freezes at night in early May, but the day time temps are in the 90's. We wanted to plant corn, and it's not recommended to start them indoors and then transplant, so we planted them right in the ground, during the day, and covered them with these blankets. It worked perfectly! It kept the ground just warm enough to not freeze our seeds! We kept them covered for 2 weeks, until after the last freeze. Thanks to these, we're going to start planting even earlier next year!!

I always have one of these ready to go for veterinary surgeries to keep patients warm. They’re affordable and easy to clean.

Note that the product I got was 10x CB-6841 (which is the product name), not the CB-6831 as the picture suggests. This blanket is 52x84, waterproof and very compact and lightweight.This is great to keep in the car, your bag/purse, camping, work -- anywhere where you think you might want some kind of emergency blanket. You can also use it as a very effective reflector for keeping heat out of your vehicle.

These are basic Mylar/foil survival/space blankets. They are not the high end ones but that is reflected in the price. Small and compact - throw them in your first aid kit, 72 hr kit, car kit, camping gear - they don't take up much space and work well to keep heat in.I have also found them useful for lining tje back amd sides of some shelving I use for seed starting in the sprimg to reflect heat and light inwards.When camping I will lay one under the sleeping bag as well as over top on colder nights. Making an outdoor shelter, they are great for lining the under side of the lean-to so that heat reflects back towards where you are sleeping.
