Awesome Product!
Truck sounds great, better horsepower, better air flow, looks great, better fuel economy, and was easy to install!

Good value when on sale
Quality is decent. Fit and install was easy. Start to finish is roughly 30 mins. Clamps for the breather hoses wasn't included (purchase some ahead of time). Throttle noise does increase. Mpg went up 0.2mpg.

Great bang for the buck
Works and is easy enough to install I put it on my 2017 Silverado with the 4.3 and it works great I’ve seen a major improvement in fuel mileage It does not fit the 4.3 L out out of the box. You have to get an adapter, but they do not advertise that it fits so that was OK with me.

4 stars only
well packaged, good instructions, good fit easy install. Only problem with this package is there are no clamps for the small hoses. If they would supply the right size clamps for the total install then I would have given it 5 stars. It does help with the air flow and give a nice sound when called on. As far as power increase and extra milage that is left to be determined. That said, buy this unit and replace the factory Darth Vater hood. This looks a lot more Manly. After all looks are important.

It's a great value, it looks awesome and it sounds awesome too!!!
Glad I assume the negative reviewers were not to be trusted and ordered this. It went on easy (less than an hour), it looks awesome and it's already made a difference in one day. My truck idles smoother and I love the little growl it has when I get on it. Let's address a couple things in the negative review... The inside of the pipe being dirty as several have said. Mine wasn't, but I still balled up a towel and pushed it through with a piece of PVC pipe just to make sure. If you don't want to do that, don't buy a DIY install of a cold air intake. Just take it to a professional, who will do that on everyone they install to make sure it's free of dirt and debris. The kit didn't come with the four little hose clamps. Mine didn't either, but I assume any person attempting to DIY install a cold air intake probably has a jar of misc sized hose clamps on their workbench. I grabbed four and it didn't really impact the install at all. Seriously, if you are looking for a cold air intake that isn't insanely over-priced, this is the one. It's great quality and it's still at a great price too!

Looks cool sounds nice buuuuttt......
The pipe was damaged, but the box wasn't damaged so kinda just seems the packing could be better. *INSTALLER BEWARE - CHECK THE INSIDE OF THE PIPE BEFORE INSTALLATION!* I had a bunch of machining debris inside my pipe that I had to blow out that would have for surely came loose in operation and gone thru my engine. The installation instructions said that the fittings for the breather hoses were 3/4" wrench but were 13/16's wrench, and also said later on that being the barb style fitting it wouldn't need hose clamps. Perhaps if the hose that came in the kit was next size smaller that would have been the case, but unless I wanted to pull unmetered/unfiltered air into the engine you def need hose clamps on those fittings. Nice thing tho at least for the GM 6.2 L the hose was actually big enough that you wont need the not included smaller hose clamps for that connection because you can firmly fit the hose over the valve cover fittings. The 4" hose clamp for the throttle body connection (only get one) broke immediately upon tightening down so I had to grab another hose clamp from our parts room. The instructions say that it's an oiled filter, but mine was dry and came with no oil...so here's to hoping it should be a dry filter now. Other than that most everything fit together nice and looks good and sounds mean when you give'er the onion. Pro tip tho, when mounting the air filter shield into the engine bay, don't tighten the mount bolts down until last. You will have to wiggle and adjust it around when putting the pipe in to have everything look and fit right in the engine compartment. Then tighten it down, it's a rather sturdy looking set up. I had an extra 3.5" clamp and coupler when I was done. Also the 5.3L accordion tube throttle body coupler will actually fit perfectly on the 6.2L throttle body opening, just need a lil soapy water but will at least alone for some flexibility for the engine torque moving the block around. Much better throttle response with this kit than factory. Doubt I picked up any real power (nothing notable to me), but the sound and room opened up in the engine bay now is worth the money alone.

Great product
This was such an easy updrages and honestly noticed a difference day 1 makes the truck a little louder when you punch it and gives quicker pick up when accelerating. Took maybe 40 minutes would've been less had I not dropped a bolt in the bay.

Quality is absolute GARBAGE
I’ve been an aircraft mechanic for 26 years. I’ve rebuilt aircraft for Virgin Galactic, and was in the import scene for a long time with my Evo making Cover of Dsport (March 2012). I’m well aware of what true quality is, and this is not it. The only reason I didn’t remove it and go back to stock is it’s 98 degrees outside. The intake pipe is pot metal aluminum. Absolute lowest quality aluminum. That’s ok though, it matches their packing which is trash cause the pipe was scratched to bare metal. Thankfully they sent a badge which I used to cover the crappy pack job. The 2018 Silverado has quick release vent tubes so installing the hoses required worm clamps, guess what… none in the box. Surprise. That’s on par though with the other clamp which came cross threaded in the barrel nut and would not release or tighten. I humored myself and the bolt never moved. The clamp twisted and bent though. Used a factory clamp. The filter makes spectre look like K&N. I wish I could say anything good…….. it’s lighter than stock but that could just be because it was missing half the clamps. Save your money and buy something else. Also for reference, I have a 2001 Suburban with 5.3 and I installed a 57.00 Amazon eBay intake. It is significantly higher quality than this Rough Country attempt at quality intake. People giving this 5 stars either got lucky or have very low standards. If you wanna see what quality looks like. Google Japanese ARC intake.
