Great for babies and toddlers!
This product was great and worked exactly as expected. Good quality and easy to assemble. It kept my baby safe and contained without making him feel trapped. It was a good size but I like that you can buy more panels to make the pen bigger if needed. I did end up returning because it was a little too big for my small apartment, but that’s no fault of the product itself :)

Great play yard!
I have the 8 panel play yard. Overall, this is a great play yard. I chose to put mine in a perfect square instead of an Octagon. You lose a little square feet this way, but it works better for our room setup. It also fits perfectly on a 6x6 foam floor tiles:(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HS5BYVO/ref=od_aui_detailpages02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) The 8 panel square measures 65" x 65" I think the octagon measures 80" x 80" but again the square just worked better for our room. HEIGHT: I was torn between this play yard and the Summer Infant Play Yard, and did a lot of research before going with the North States. They were the exact same size and price so I could not decide. I went with this one because it is a little shorter at 26" inches high verses the Summer Infant which is 30" high. I am very petite so stepping over the 26" is even a little challenging for me! The Summer Infant play yard has a door which was appealing, but everyone kept reviewing that the door was difficult to open, so they would just step over it. I don't think there's anyway I could step over the 30" height. In my opinion, the 26" is the perfect height. FOLDING/PORTABILITY: I wanted this to be portable because I knew I would be using it at a few different locations, it is definitely portable, but takes up a fair amour of space when traveling which is expected. I just kept the box that it came in and always transport it in the box. It took me about 15 minutes to set it up initially, and 6 minutes to fold down. After my second, third, times setting up and folding down I could easily setup in under 1 minute and easily fold down in under 1 minute. I did read a lot of reviews that theirs broke when folding, which you do have to be careful to fold the correct way. After you inspect the gates, you'll be able to see which way it needs to fold. So just observe and make sure that nobody tries to fold it up quickly without understanding the correct way to fold. If you're going on a weekend trip or visiting family I would easily pack this along to bring. If you're going on a quick picnic at the park, I wouldn't mess with it. I would want something more portable such as the Summer Infant pop up portable play pen. It folds up like a lawn chair. I have used that one as well at a friend's home, it is much smaller probably half the size but I think it would also be a nice purchase. COLOR: I was slightly disappointed in the "sand" color. I was hoping it would be more ivory/beige but it has more of an orange tint. Not a deal breaker because either way the cage isn't a very pretty sight, but it is what it is. STURDYNESS: They are lightweight plastic gates, so for the people that said they were "flimsy" weren't exactly lying. But when it's all setup and connected it's as sturdy enough as it needs to be for any baby or toddler. There's no way it would tip over or cave in. I would give it 4.5stars because as much as I love it, my daughter isn't as thrilled. I definitely purchased this too late, she is already 9 months, crawling, and standing up on everything and was used to exploring the entire house before and now she's "confined" in this pen. I think she would enjoy it more if she would have had this since birth. But it's our first baby so we'll be able to keep this for all future kiddos! I purchased it more for traveling to grandparents and to our lake house that is not as baby proof as our home is. It will be somewhat bulky to travel with, but will work great. I was also considering the Summer Infant collapsible play yard but I think the square footage is way too small to be enjoyable. I'm happy with this size!

Awesome product!
This is a great item, it's very durable and easy to use you don't have to only use it with the wall mounts you can actually use it without. I like that you can fold it up and set it to the side of the room and it doesn't take up much space at all when you are not using it!

Not for everyone, PERFECT for some.
I LOVE my yard. My baby does not feel trapped at all. I was worried she wouldn't like it because she hated the Pack n' Play and would never let me put her in it. This yard is big enough that she doesn't feel confined. I only gave it 4 stars because the netted portion does have a 'warped' look that is purely cosmetic and takes nothing from the structure. Okay, to address some of the negative reviews: Too hard to put together: Yes, it is a little effort positioning the gate walls. If the hinges were free-swinging, they's be easy for children to move. Then, you'd have all sorts of problems, like little ones pinching their fingers, and easily tipping the gate over! I'm grateful for the click lock hinges. It would be a poor, unsafe product without them. If you plan to fold the gate up on a regular/daily basis, this is not the gate for you. It doesn't make it a bad product, it just doesn't suit those needs. If you plan to set it up once, and rarely take it down, it is perfect! Scoots around floor, or tips over: I want to know how old the children are of the people who said their children tipped this over. I can't even tip it over!! I suspect these reviewers either used more than 10 panels or had them arranged in a square/rectangle position instead of a hexagon/octagon, which is a no-no! The walls are flimsy when straight. When bent at an angle, they are very stable. If I can't tip this over, I know my 8 month old can't. As for being pushed across the floor, mine is on carpet, and my child is young. If it starts scooting when she is walking , I'll update. No doorway: It isn't easy to open the yard up using a wall panel like a gate. If you want to be able to do that a lot, this may not be the gate for you. I open a door so I can sit on the floor outside the gate and play with my child and have little trouble. Other than that, I don't see why you'd need to. It's the same height as a play pen and they don't have gates. If you need in, step over. It's no taller than a baby gate. Breaks: I never came close to breaking mine. There is a snap lock hinge at the top and bottom between each panel. If you try to move just the top or just the bottom, I could see how it would snap. You have to move both hinges at the same time, by pushing in between them, on both sides. I've never had a problem moving it this way. I think they will only break if you move them the wrong way or get frustrated or aren't careful. It's heavier/lighter than expected: The weight is in the description.

Unbeatable, unbreakable gate!
This gate is perfect for what we needed! It is large, and the price point is great for what you get. Install was pretty easy too. I can also say that it is VERY durable. My husband fell over/on it, and it did not break! It just detached from the wall mount, and was easily re-attached after.

A Great Addition To My Original Enclosure
I really like this product. I bought the original enclosure in 2000 to keep a puppy in. I was a little worried that, maybe, there had been a design change in the interim. But, nope everything fit together just fine. Since then, my wife and I have secured several litters of puppies and a flock of ducks in it. Sometimes, as now, we use two of the panels to form a child gate. One of the panels, finally, broke when a grandchild was helping me fold it up. I decided to buy the panel with the built in gate. I, now, wish I had this gate from the beginning. My wife is thrilled with it. It makes everything involving cleaning, feeding and watering, and, quickly, retrieving pets, toddlers, etc so much easier.

Baby gate
Easy to use foldable fence. The pictures look bigger than it actually is still worth the money very sturdy, but you can tell it’s cheaply made.

This has been a really useful purchase. At first I used it to keep my crawling baby contained in a room or outside. Now that he's 2yrs, I use 3 sections of it to block the wide opening for the steps on our deck so he can't escape (It's roped to the railing in a straight line). It's good quality, doesn't scratch our floors, and holds its shape. The colours make it look nice too. I'm 5"3 and can step over it easily enough ( I do need to go on tip toes though). It folds up nice and flat. The only drawback is that I've found it rather cumbersome to try to fold up, since it holds its shape so well it can be hard to force the joints to move. So that's a bit of a catch 22. I'd definitely buy it again though.

We thought we were going to need both the two extension pieces but ended up only needing one! Attaches to the other gate easily. Worth the purchase.
