Great Replacement Filter
This replacement filter was identical to the original filter it replaced on my Subaru Forester Touring model. Any difficulty I had in replacing the filter was not due to the filter but was related to the relatively annoying difficulty with gaining access to the cavity where the original filter is located. Once access was achieved, the replacement was effected was ease.

OEM part - easy install
Filter matched the one installed by dealer including part numbers embossed on the frame. Installation was very quick and not complicated. Replaced for fraction of the cost and saved a lot of time by not driving to shop.

Perfect OEM Replacement for Crosstrek Cabin Air Filter
After attempting to switch it up with the Bosch "HEPA" cabin air filter and failing twice (two new filters did not stay in place), I went with the tried-and-true OEM Subaru option for my 2014 Crosstrek. This filter arrive quickly and most importantly, was ACTUALLY a Subaru part - not a third party item. Easy to install with a quick pinch on the sides of the glove box, detaching of the anchor point on the right side, and removal of the old filter. New one popped in with a snap and the inside of the car could breath again. Highly recommend getting this and skipping the slightly higher cost of the local Subaru dealer, which was priced around $25.

Perfect OEM replacement cabin a/c filter for your Subaru
I was happy to see that these are, in fact, actual, genuine SUBARU filters. Fit perfectly in my 2011 Forester. If this is your first time replacing your a/c filter (or cabin air filter, depending on which reference you look at) please know that it does involve a bit of "man-handling" to 1) get the glove box to drop down out of the way and 2) to maneuver the filter out of the blower housing. You open the glove box, pop off the glove box dampener (located on the right side on mine), then you have to force the two sides of the rear of the glove box passed the plastic that makes up the rest of the dash. The glove box uses floating hinges so it will actually come off completely without any tools. The filter itself just pulls out using four small finger tabs located on the face of the filter tray. I kind of had to twist the filter tray to the left and down to wiggle it passed the dash plastic and out of the blower housing. Installation is just the reverse of all that. Takes five minutes at most but, as I said, expect to feel like you're sort of breaking something trying to get the glove box to drop down. I'd give these filters five stars if the price was a little lower. I'm pretty sure I replaced my filter this time last year so, as you can see in the photo, it's certainly a good idea to stick to the manufacturer's recommendation on this one.

Genuine Subaru Part
Exact replica, fit perfect. Used in a 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5 There are a couple You Tube videos on install which is behind the glove box, which is dropped down by removing the side lanyard and squeezing the box to allow tabs to be released... Total time of replacement ... 5 minutes .... removing the old one may require a pair of pliers to grip the tabs on the filter... mine had been in since the car was built so the pliers helped un-stick the dried foam seal. 7 years of dirt and debris were caught in the old filter, I now have improved ventilation thru the dash vents. Is paying extra for the OEM? I'd say yes after reading comments about the aftermarket filters.

Perfect fit for 2008 Impreza.

Literally a 30 second install, set a reminder on your phone, re-order one of these every 2 years (or more often if you live in a new construction zone + more dust).

If you're not into changing your oil yourself, but would like to save some money on your next service try changing the cabin air filter yourself. You could save as much as on an oil change and this will only take about 5 minutes. This one fit our 2014 Subaru Crosstrek perfectly. As another reviewer pointed out there are many videos on YouTube on how to do this.

Perfect OEM fit! Took literally 2 minutes to change. Million of video demonstrate the process. Why paid the dealership $80.00 to do it for you? It fits my subaru forester 2017 xt perfectly.

Well... seems original, it fits perfectly however ..."made in china" ?? (my fault i haven't checked the full description). Then, on the second picture you can see the gaps between the filter's fiber. I haven't checked the one put from the dealer but i assumed that if it filters pollen, you shouldn't see tiny holes in it.... This one can at most filter leaves.
