14k Gold Plated Brass Small Plain Hoop Huggie Baby Girls Earrings

My two year old has an aversion to "cheap" earrings - it comes with red puffy ears and pain since removing her piercing earrings which we only removed after three months because she lost that back as well. We have been buying her gold earrings, but its getting expensive as she continuously comes up missing one earing - no matter what kind of backing we put on and weve tried them all. The jeweler suggested baby hoops but would need to order them as they weren't in stock. Before buying gold hoops, I wanted to try to see if she will play with them, lose them etc, so we ordered this pair. She has been successfully wearing them for a few days and leaves them alone. Even better, no issues with ears getting infected etc. Love how they look - they are adorable on her. I may order more pairs! Much more economical than the full gold earrings she continues to lose....Im sure our local jeweler will be mad about this purchase because its keeping us away! Don't hesitate to purchase, we are so glad we did. Perfect size for her age as well, they dangle just about a half of a hoop off her ear. Nice secure closure!

We have spent a small fortune on earrings for my daughter that won't fall out or she can't pull out (she's 2). A friend suggested these hoops to me and it has been the answer to our problems! My only concern was the the gauge of these earrings is larger than standard post earrings so it took a bit of lubing and probably a small amount of pain on the part of my toddler to get them in her ears. But if they hurt her she was over it a second later and they haven't budged from her ears since. Our big issue with standard post earrings was that removing shirts would loosen or remove the backs- or she'd simply pull the earring out of her ears in her car seat. We tried screw backs but she could get those off too. This has been the best solution.

The bigger part of the earring moves and gets stuck in the pierced part of the ear. Not a great design

These are beautiful and sturdy earrings. My little one has been using these for a month and the stalk is strong. I don't think it will bend. The earrings look very trendy and are so easy to put them on a wiggly child. The first day I think the stalk was a little bent when I was putting it on. The next day she was able to pull one earring off. It was not properly clicked in place properly, since it was bent. I accidentally bent it. The stalk was not flimsy. Then I readjusted and put them on her again and they are staying on her since then. So far they look shiny and no darkening of the metal. She had no allergic reaction to the metal. We have sensitive ears. They are perfect size for 18 month old. Very pretty.

At first I loved these earrings!! The lock was exactly what I needed for my toddler who had removed all other earrings we had purchased including screwballs... But the plating wore off within 2 months of wearing them and caused a huge allergic reaction in my 2 yr olds ears! I would pay way more for these same earrings if they were real gold all the way through and not plated.

These are the right diameter I was looking for, but a little more chunky than I ideally wanted - the hoops I was replacing were very delicate and thin, and these by comparison are quite heavy. I am using these in "upper" ear piercings, so I am used to not quite so much weight but I am sure I can adapt.The look of these is nice. I like the secure clasp, and these are VERY easy to get in and out. The price was also pretty economical as well when I purchased these. So all in all I am satisfied with this purchase. Should anything go wrong, such as the finish tarnish or something awful like that I will update my review accordingly.Edit 2/19/15 After wearing them for a while (daily and not taking them out) I've gotten used to the extra weight. Sleeping in these at first was a little tricky. I had to make sure they were all laying just right. Now it's like second nature. They still look great, I don't notice them in anymore. None have come loose at all, very secure.Edit 4/16/15 still looking great no chips, no scuffing, still bright looking and not at all dingy. You will be safe to get these. I wear them every day and never take them out - I sleep in these and shower with them.Edit 8/29/15 Still looking great!!! Love them!Edit 6/16/16 Showing a bit of wear. But I do wear these constantly.Edit 8/17/16 - ok, these are now at the end of their life! They had a good run. I'm still pretty happy I did wear them daily for over a year.

I fell in love with these as soon as I opened the box. They're perfect!! My daughter just turned two and these are the exact size I was looking for. Small. Just right for us. She hasn't bothered them since I put them in so she's not showing any signs of irritation just yet. I think I'm going to polish them with a very thin layer of clear nail polish to keep the plating longer. I also might remove them at night just so no irritation occurs. I would definitely recommend.

These are just big enough to fit around an adult earlobe with a tiny bit of extra space. The back is secure enough to sleep in them. I have fairly sensitive ears, and I have had no issues so far! It was a bit difficult getting them in due to the curve, but not obnoxiously so. It helps to go with the curve instead of trying to just poke them through like a stud. I'm considering buying another pair now, because they are really quite nice.
