Realistic Black Horse Mask: Full Face Rubber Latex with Faux Fur Costume Mask

Ever since I received my black horse mask, I have become a changed man. I am more in tune with nature as I gallop across meadows. I am able to run more quickly with more stamina (your mileage may vary). I have not attempted to see if my jumping ability is improved. I feel the obstructed vision may become a hindrance to me clearing the jumps.I chose the black mask over the brown mask due to it possibly being more versatile. I bought it for a Kentucky Derby show/event so I bought a long sleeve, red athletic shirt to go with it, similar to what jockeys may wear. This made me have a horse/jockey hybrid look which fit the bill for what I was doing. I also have a black UnderArmor type athletic shirt that will go well with this that I could use for something else- Halloween perhaps, or for answering the door and greeting unwanted solicitors. I wore white gloves with the mask and my red shirt (which had white accents). I may end up trying to make some hoof gloves should I come up with a good idea.Sometimes I will give my wife piggy back rides while I wear the mask. She will then lash out at my hind quarters with a switch. Why I ask, Is that supposed to make me go faster?I couldn't tell from the pictures if the black mask was as good as the brown, but I can assure you it's pretty decent. It holds it shape pretty well for being a longish mask. It does obscure vision and hearing somewhat, so take precautions for your safety. It is easy to put on and remove. I have not worn it for an extended time, so I cannot comment on how hot it will be.

It's a pretty good mask for the price. Worth it for the laughs. There are ones with a longer nose, and If I were to buy another horse mask, I'd probably get one of those. It does smell like chemicals, but I washed it well with warm soapy water, and it helped. Overall I'm happy with it. Don't expect to be able to wear it for very long, it's hard to see out of, and hard to breath wearing it, just throw it on, take a stupid picture, and pull it off.

i've had so many dreams where my head was a horse but the rest of me was human. alas, this horse head had me so excited, i bought a pound of carrots and ate them through the mouth hole.i know this isn't a traditional thought or even a real mythological creature, but it just feels right.note: may cause friends to jump on your back and ride you around the room. use caution.also good for fitting in during riots with police horses.

Arrived earlier than expected. Bought it for a friend and he said it was cool (though he did not seem very enthusiastic).I thought it looked awesome! It fit him alright but don't expect to have much vision wearing this thing. All in all, you get what you pay for!

It's a horse of course!Have you ever stood out at a Marathon cheering for friends? Do you see the face they get when they see you - it rejuvenates them!Now imagine them seeing some random person wearing a creepy horse mask, talking at them and dancing Gangnam Style!Now that's not just a boost - it stops the runners in their tracks for a photo op! ;)

The mask I received was not the mask pictured. We chose this vendor because the photo showed the 'realistic' horse mask (with muscles and veins and a jaw line) and many other vendors showed a photo of the mask I actually received (flat on the sides, awkward mouth, just cheap looking in general). As another reviewer said, I expect to receive the mask pictured. That is why I ordered it. Substituting an inferior product because it's close to Halloween and you are out of stock is not acceptable. Now it's too late for me to reorder because it won't arrive in time for the Halloween party.

While this mask may not fool "real" horses, it is sufficiently realistic to fool your slower witted friends and relatives into believing you've become some sort of horrific man/horse mutant hybrid. A word to the wise; do not wear this to jury duty or job interviews. Some people may become jealous of your stealth horse farm infiltration abilities.

The mouth doesn't stay open like the other masks. You have to look through the nostrils and thats not fun. Plus it smelled like a factory for months!
