Floating Pool Spa Hot Tub Animal Thermometer F/C Display-Whale

Our hot tub thermometer broke and we purchased this item for replacement...and it works well...saved us lots of money for a service call.

Worked well for a bit, but then a friend's kid came over and was turning it upside down & now the inside temperature markings are off b/c the scale shifted. The glass came loose also and therefore the thermometer is useless. Thought it would be sturdier. The whale/dolphin character made it seem like a toy to that kid.

Such a cute little addition to our hot tub. Our grandson hasn't seen them yet but I know he will enjoy them when he does. It is a very efficient and accurate thermometer too.

Correct range but not calibrated.

We got this for our home-made hot tub that we had been using our electric food thermometer to track the temperature with. We didn't want to damage the nice thermometer so we bought this little guy. There are two real problems with this product. First, it doesn't float upright and sits on its side in the water. Second, the reading is inaccurate and shows a temperature of about 6 degrees cooler than the water is. 6 degrees is a lot to be off by when you consider this is used to measure the temperature of water that you are going to submerge your body in (especially if you have little ones).
