Perfect espresso
This is not the first time we have purchased from Saccuzzo coffee. We have been to there beautiful showroom. They are extremely nice, helpful and great people to work with. Their coffee is the best with great crema and fantastic flavor at a great value.

Rich and smooth with good crema
First time trying this and it was excellent when ground fine in our Breville espresso machine. Rich, smooth, with plenty of crema, and no one could tell it was decaf!

Better as Drip
As espresso it was somewhat thin. Spend the same amount and go for the imported brands instead.

Good bean
This is a good bean, packaged to stay fresh and with fast delivery. I got it the day after I ordered it. I like the taste of this espresso, but not as well as I like the taste of Italian decaf beans such as Manaresi and Bristot. Grand Italia tastes more like an artisanal American espresso than like a typical Italian espresso. I realize tastes differ, and I recommend trying this bean, but I prefer roasts from the old country.

Great flavor and it is at a great price
I tried this coffee a while ago and was super impressed with the flavor. I would put this on par with other espressos that are much more expensive. Highly recommend !

Better Beans Than You Know Who, But Lighter Flavor
Better beans; nearly all are intact. Slightly smaller beans than that starry brand, and less depth of flavor. But since that other brand seems to have ceased selling decaf espresso whole beans, here I am sampling lots and lots of decaf beans suitable for espresso. The decaf roast is somewhat light, both in color (brown) and flavor (no deep chocolate nor nearly charred). Brewed Flavor reflects this. But since I mix them with caffeinated Star$ in a 1:4 ratio, I am quite happy to recommend Grande Italia Decaf as a substiture for Star$ Decaf Espresso Whole Beans.

Perfecto!
This is what a perfect pour and espresso shot looks like! Notice the tiny layer of black that emerges at the bottom towards the end. That’s called the heart. The middle layer of caramelly foam is called the body and the top, lightest color is called the crema. This is literally a perfect shot of espresso. AND it’s decaf!!! GRAZIE to the Famiglia Sacuzzo for sharing their art and craft with the world. Since developing a sensitivity to caffeine, I’ve been hard at work trying to find a decaf that makes decent espresso. This is the first one that delivers!

Bland Taste
Perhaps all decaf coffees taste bland, but I was hoping for more from an espresso flavor. I will have to mix this with real ground espresso coffee in order to use it. By itself it's got kind of a nutty, low intensity flavor. Would not buy again.
