Q: Does this version have magnets or hooks to pick up the fish?

It does NOT have magnets!!! You would think the fishing rods and the fish had magnets in their mouths but they DO NOT. The fish have little teeth in their mouths and the rods have hooks that you catch the fish on their teeth.

Ugh I’m having the same problem! 3 out of 4 of our rods broke. The rods are very cheaply made! Have you found replacements anywhere?

I couldn't find instructions printed anywhere online but googled it and found a good video review that showed the game being played and had some instructions. Try that! Hope it helps.
