Not sure how much you know about nutrition, so I'm going to make this as complete as possible. These bars have NO added sugar, listed as sugar. However, they have honey and glucose, which are sugars, giving each bar 12 grams of sugar when factoring in the sugar that coconut has in it as well. Now, the glycemic index is low. I love these bars and look at them as a dessert, much healthier than, say, a candy bar.Here is the entire ingredient list in order of amount, from most to least: Almonds, coconut, honey, glucose, crisp rice, chicory root fiber, and soy lecithin.

Unfortunately, this time of year, there is no way for us to prevent melting. We do not ship with cold packs. If you are concerned, I would wait until cooler weather prevails, or try and find it more locally, to avoid that possibility.
