I keep two food bowls for my shaft-tailed finches - one with standard millet from local pet stores and the other with this seed mix. They consistently prefer this mix, which makes it an easy choice since it’s also a healthier option. The quality is excellent, fresh, and well worth the price. I actually bought it to feed city sparrows, tailor birds and other birds. We normally feed cooked rice and puffed rice. So I thought I will get these seeds and feed them. But to my disappointment, first few days the birds didn't even touched them. So what I did I mixed them with cooked rice and fed them and slowly decreased the rice and kept more seeds. Now after 2 weeks of pushing them, now they feed in 70/30 ratio, 70% they eat seeds and remaining rice. The seed mix is good and all natural. I tested by sowing some seeds and plants did grew. So all and all a good product.

I'm a continuous buyer to this product... My finches like it very much... I ordered it recently on festive season in discount mode... The Cuttle fish bones were missed in it... Moreover it contains weevils and small bugs in it...

Useless seeds with insects inside it and the birds are not even eating it Moreover too expensive for the quality and quantity

If you have finches then tis might not be for you as it contains a lot of big seeds but ( especially white finches ).
