Well made
Fits my Colt Commander perfectly. Nice leather. The leather could be just a tad thicker for the shoulder strap part of it. The actual holster for the pistol is very well made and solid. Very pleased with this. Good for fall/winter under a coat. I don’t get to carry my .45 as much as I would like to

Fits a 6in Python very nicely, just make sure you do the snap on the belt strap the right way.
This holster is fairly comfortable for its size and the weight of the gun, in my case a 6in Colt Python. You will need to break in the spring retention a bit and possibly change out the gun retaining strap, I ended up using the longer strap on its smaller setting. Additionally it is very important to note that you must do the belt strap the correct way, it has to be snapped bottom to top. If you try to snap it from the top first it will give you a false snap and quickly come undone from normal body movement. Snapping it the correct way results in a very solid and secure snap that holds up to movement perfectly. That said if you prefer to wear it without securing it to your belt that is a viable option due to the weight of the gun, if you use a lighter gun or a smaller sized version YMMV.

Great, depending on price
A well made holster of high quality materials. Not crazy about the elastic cross strap, I'd prefer leather, but it cuts the cost and reduces weight. At the $96 I paid, this holster is a steal. More than that, I'd hesitate. I don't see the point of using it for anything smaller than large frame revolvers, either, as there are much more compact designs out there. The longevity of this design attests to its effectiveness for large, long barreled guns.

(Large / Size 4) Great for my 1873 Cattleman II with 5.5" barrel
The website for sizing was really complicated. I looked at revolvers that were closest in length and shape. The Ruger New Vaquero looked like the closest match. I ordered the size 4 (which is also called the Large) It fits my 1873 Cattleman with 5.5" barrel perfectly after breaking it in. The overall length of my revolver is 11" The holster looks and feels high quality. When it arrived, it was an extremely tight fit. To break it in I opened the clam shell style holster (opening towards the ground) and pressed my knee into the spine to "flatten" it. There's a strong metal spring under the leather I had to wrestle with. After about 10 minutes of manipulation, I placed a small bottle inside the holster to let it relax around the girth. Actually wearing this Large holster, I found it to be very comfortable. It hugged pretty close to my side and didn't get in the way of my arm as I walked around. For concealment, the holster is really long and hangs a little low. It would poke out while wearing a coat. Overall, I love it.

Five Stars
I have carried concealed for over a decade, and I have always been interested in a vertical shoulder holster but unwilling to pay the price. I have a horozontal one for a small glock, but for someone reason I am not as comfortable in it. I worry about it falling out, it flaps a little too freely and when I anchor both sides to my belt it feels restrictive. I bought this one a few months back and find that I use it much more than I thought. It is very comfortable. I am fairly active: I own a small business, I bike for exercise, I am an avid boater and fisherman and I also have a small shop. I was most interested in this for boating activities so I would not be obsessed about dropping my glock in the water from using a regular hip holster. I am happy with it; it has a strong clip, can fasten down with a strap both to my belt and across the firearm and it is secure. I also use it when I bike. I usually do 15 to 20 mile rides, and this holster rig is comfortable and rides tight against my side. I also wear it more and more at the office. It is easy to slip on and off and as long as you have a jacket or a suit coat to cover it, it conceals nicely. I am not as young as I used to be, and I found that when I carry on my hip all day I have some lower back pain. I avoid that completely with this. Also, when I carry on the hip the butt of my holster is always digging in the seat of my truck and has worn the leather on the seat. That problem is solved as well, and there is easier access to your firearm than from the hip when seated. The model I bought was for a glock 21, full size, but I also use it for a glock 23, which is a little lighter. I put a full size .40 magazine in the 23 with a spacer, so I get the full 15 rounds with a smaller more easily concealed weapon. The interchangeability of Glock magazines is a great feature. The holster does not have a strap or tie down for the noncarry side, but I am OK with that. It is not as restrictive. So I give it five stars. I like it more than I thought I would.

Probably one of the best holsters made
Probably one of the best holsters made. Great company, love there products. That being said, I ordered a holster for a 6" barrel, and received a holster for a 14" barrel. Returned it.

The large size is an excellent fit for my both 6" Stainless Colt Python and S&W 686. Great craftmanship made leather holster. Very comfortable. No exaggerated bulk as on synthetic shoulder holsters. More pricey yes but worth it plenty.
