Bought as a gift for a friend that takes beard care very seriously. Thought it was going to be a case of the bottle looks awesome but the smell is rubbish....except it's NOT. It smells like christmas, it's spiced and warm. It's a wonderful scent and a beautiful matte black bottle

I've tried a number of beard oils over the years, most recently I have been using Captain Fawcett Booze and Baccy, which has a nice thick consistency and provides a decent level of scent. It has been getting quite pricey of late (edging towards £40 for a 50ml bottle, although can be as low as £30 on Amazon) so I decided to try an alternative and gave this a try. As per other reviews, when it arrived the bottle showed signs of leakage but not to any great extent. The oil itself is very thin in consistency and absorbs into the hands while rubbing to heat it for application. I tried the Bulldog beard oil at one stage and this is comparable in quality but that costs about £4 so you can almost forgive the lesser quality. Where a few drops of oil usually does the trick this needs at least 5 to get a decent amount to actually find its way to the beard. The scent is ok but pretty much just a scent of cloves. I have been alternating between this and the Captain Fawcett oil lately and at times have had some bad issues with beard flaking - initially I thought it might be the changing weather but having now experimented with oil brand vs. flaking occurence, I have to conclude it is this stuff that is actually causing the flaking so ultimately a waste of money. The bottle looks cool is about the only positive.

Cons - Oil leaked within the cardboard tube despite the seal being in tact and packaging not damaged. Pros - Oil smells great and is good quality. The bottle is unique and looks good.

he probado varias marcas y productos, este es el que más me gusta, en general esta marca todos los productos huelen muy muy bien, este huele como citrico, dulce y unico, es dificil describir olores, al principio se puede oler facilmente con esta cerca tuya, al pasar las horas lo huelen las personas que se acerquen a besarte, pero lo importante es eso, que lo siguen oliendo si estas haciendo tratamiento con minoxidil es muy recomendable, calma el picor y la sequedad

Le packaging est super. Les doses peuvent se mesurer précisément grâce à la pipette intégrée. Concernant l'huile elle me satisfait : - l'odeur est celle que j'attendais (en rapport au "bay rum") : quelque chose d'assez épicé & un peu sucré qui fait pirates des caraïbes. L'odeur tient quelques heures puis s'estompe - l'huile est plus fluide que certaines en effet, mais elle n'est pas hyper grasse et, sur moi, est rapidement absorbée (mais laisse toujours un film légèrement gras toute la journée) comparée à mon autre huile a barbe (huile Camden) qui est plus "lourde" et durable je trouve. Bref pour résumé c'est une huile qui fait bien le taf même si évidemment on peut trouver mieux mais qui a un parfum bien sympathique & un design de bouteille qui déchire ( bouteille en + facilement réutilisable une fois celle-ci finie).

Très joli packaging et huile facile à appliquer , pas trop grasse .

Not a hint of smell let alone the scent of Oud… just a rip off! Not worth 1/4 of the price. Very disappointing and misleading. If there was zero rating I would have given it to them!
