I'm a 5'7"/170 tall female and ordered a Medium. It's a great fit on the head, but I have a slim neck and this is baggy on me but makes for ease of don/doff (I pad around my neck with a non-absorbent cloth). I chose this for the small size bib, to tuck into my ocean swimming garb. I have a 5mm set up with large bib for my diving dry suit. Good quality, and I'm happy with this purchase.

Does the job, keeps me nice and warm without being bulky. I like that it's just the hood - I can pair it with any wetsuit, and its easier to get on and off. As a woman with long hair- I actually found it very helpful to cut a hole for my ponytail. Now it sits even better.

I wear this for whitewater kayaking. It fits snug and is thin enough to wear under my helmet. It keeps me from getting "ice cream headaches" when I roll or flip upside down in cold water. It also keeps the cold water out of my ears so I don't have to wear ear plugs. It's long enough to tuck the neck inside the volcano tunnel of my drysuit to keep the cold water off my neck around the gasket. I wouldn't want to go back to paddling in the cold without it. I use it nearly weekly 8 or 9 months out of the year kayaking in the PNW. After a couple years, some of the seams started to come apart at the edges, but I believe this is due to the stress I put on it sliding the helmet over it. I still use the original in the warmer months and bought a couple more to have a spare on hand. Outstaning value.

Good for head, neck and ear warmth while diving. Helps with ear clearing, not having cold water swishing in and out of ears. This hood runs small, I had to get the next size up or have my circulation cut off. Latex around face can be trimmed with scissors for individual comfort.

Although I returned this hood, it was not because of any defect in the product. It was because I ordered one that was too thick. It was difficult to put on and take off and I found it was more suitable for much colder water than is typically found in Florida. It was extremely well made and did provide excellent protection from cold water. I’d your need is for warmth in vee cold water, this hood will perform admirably.

This fits great and definitely doesn't get water pooling inside. I followed the size guide but it is almost a little too snug around the face hole. Leaves an indent in my cheeks but functions great.

Seems good, but I bought a MEDIUM and I’m an adult woman with a normal sized head and it’s so tight that I won’t be able to use it. (My face was all squished and I felt like I was choking, and my hair wouldn’t fit in it.) Maybe some people like that tight fit, but I’m not using it for scuba diving, I’m just using it to keep the wind off of my neck and ears when I do winter paddle boarding in the Pacific Northwest. So I’m going to order this in a size LARGE which I’m sure will be perfect for me. So keep that in mind when you’re ordering!!

This is a basic hood for scuba diving. I used it for 10 days in 80-degree water and it held up well. The collar could be a bit longer but it still ticks well into the wetsuit.
