An excellent timepiece. I got it and had it for over a month with no issues. It's gotten me a few comments when I have worn it to work, and was noticed by a cousin that likes watches as soon as he saw it at an engagement party I went to. This watch is not waterproof; however, I rode my motorcycle home one night amd was caught in a nasty monsoon storm. It was soaked, and even had water inside the face/crystal, yet it was still ticking! I put it in a bag of rice to see if it could be saved. Amazingly, after taking it out about two days later and wiping the water stains off the face, the Miyota movement hadn't once stopped. It didn't even need to be set and timekeeping remained impeccable. The wood itself was also minimally affected, only a little more dry and marked than before. Beware, the watch can be a bit fragile. I always was careful excercising if I had left it on, and sometimes I could hear it strain a bit when I would lean on my hands or otherwise bend my wrists with some pressure. I like my watches to be on less loosely: if any more of the links were on, the watch would slide around uncomfortably. And as expected, the face could indeed be difficult to read at night, especially on my bike. That said, I cannot recommend the watch enough. Its excellent for anything that doesn't involve strenuous activity, is durable for what it is, and it looks great. I actually ended up losing mine because I left it on my motorbike and rode off without putting it back on. I liked it so much that I ended up buying another (also wanted to keep it matching with a wooden watch someone special has). The replacement proves the natural wooden nature of the watch: the grain and even staining/color is notably unique and different from the first. I would go as far as saying it looks better overall, even if I may have slightly preferred the darker finish on the case of the first unit I had purchased. Still, it looks great and my co-workers commented on it once again. Can't beat it for the price 👍. Hope the review was helpful! Pictures are of the original first unit I purchased.

The watch was shipped from China but was on time per the estimate. It came in a classy wooden box with a clasp with the watch around a pillow inside. Also included was a device to easily remove a link if needed. The watch is lightweight, and wears well. It has a unique look which will be noticed. Seems to keep time accurately. This would make an excellent gift for someone. I am sure they would guess its value in the hundreds of dollars. Very pleased thus far.

I ordered this for my partner, for his birthday, and it’s just beautiful. I can’t wait to give it to him. The personalization with engraving couldn’t be more perfect and I love that I was able to receive and approve the design once my order was received. How I entered the layout, of my engraving, was made better by the designer and I was able to see approve it so that when it arrived I knew exactly what to expect. Which leads me to also add how highly customer focused this seller has been through the process. On top of the quick turnaround on the actual purchase, the timeliness and courtesy of email responses was refreshing. I forgot to make sure I had some extra links, as my guy is a big guy :), and when I wrote to see how I could purchase additional ones, I was quickly advised they’d be sent to me free of charge! it looks great, feels good .however I'm not so sure how strong the wood is based on what I've read on the disclaimer that comes in the box and the delicacy you are to handle it with . The item to remove the links was a nice touch however it isn't that strong it bent during the process of removing the 3rd link and caused the wood to crack. .I removed 2 so I think I was doing it correctly but I guess I was maybe too rough idk. but its plastic with a metallic tip and doesn't seem as it it can be used on other watches .had it for 2 weeks will see how it fairs . it has attracted attention so its worth it.

I bought this watch for our Anniversary. My husband loves it, It is his favorite now. Other man ask where we got it. He only wears it for about two times a week, when it won't put alot of stress on it. It is surprisingly light weight and comfortable. The watch was so lightweight that I thought it would break easy. So far it has lasted 4 months without a problem. It has a rich smooth feel to it. The only issue I had was the tool to adjust the size. It broke in my hand in the first 5 mins. I still managed to fix it. The issue was with the tool, not the watch, therefore I still gave it five stars. The watch itself has not broke a single link. Very beautiful, the picture does not do it justice.

So far great. VERY lightweight. Good size face. I only wore it for about an hour, but none of my arm hairs got stuck between the links. It also comes with a link remover, which I did use. By the way, if you need to remove a link, you will need a needle nose because they are a bit difficult to get out, and they come out towards the knob (to the right of band flipped upside down. Overall, I’m very happy with this so far and I will update if I become less so. Last thing I will say is I sadly have a relatively small wrist, I took one link out, and probably could’ve taken out 2, but I like my watch loose. So, if you have a very large like 9.5 inch wrist, might be a little snug. Not sure if the manufacturer sells extra links. I could barely feel this thing wearing it, and I don’t think it will sweat at all.

I gave my son this watch last Christmas. He LOVES it! He has a watch collection and this is one of his favorites because it is so light.

It's a great watch for the money. Looks very nice and adjusted to size easily
