The Best Sippy Cup Out There!
I have tried many sippy cups for my 2 year old daughter. From the 360 Munchkin Cup to many of the ones you may find at Walmart and they all have some problem or another. Some leak too much, some start to smell, and some are jsut a hastle to clean. I was frustrated becasue I couldn't find one that worked well until I was introductted to this sippy cup by my sister. I bought a few of them and have been usign them for about 6 months now. They are the best sippy cups out there. Pros: -Easy to hold for the child -Easy to clean -Comes in many different colors as well as different design (on the outside) -Price is appropriate -DON'T LEAK! (as long as you use the valve) -The inside has a valve that is made of soft plastic and the soft plastic makes the valve easy to clean. -The valve starts to smell after many uses. I feel like its important to clarify here that if you use it for water, juice, or milk and wash the bottle in a timely matter, the valve will not smell at all! However, if milk gets left in there and rots, or juice gets left in there for a long time, the valve will start to smell 3-4 times after this happens (as comapred to other sippy cups in which the plastic parts start to smell after one incident). Its very easy to get the smell out, just soak it in warm water that has some vinegar in it for a few hours and the valve will be back to normal! Cons: - replacement valves are a bit pricier then I think they should be -the sippy doesn't have a cap on the mouth part so... you have to make sure it doesn't get dirty. This can be a problem when you are out of the house.

Finally, a drinking solution for toddlers that works!
I love this water bottle! It's perfect for my 16 month-old daughter. The bottle is durable and easy for small hands to grip. The drinking piece is hard plastic, so little teeth won't destroy it over time. My daughter loves to throw her cup to the floor from the high chair, and I don't have to worry that this bottle will break or that it will spill. The spill-guard in the cap actually works, and she can drink through it without too much effort. It all comes apart quite easily and can go in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. As she gets older and (hopefully) needs the spill guard less, I can simply remove it and use it as a standard waterbottle. The threads and diameter of the cap are the same as similar bottles (like the Camelbak Eddy, for example, which I own), so I could replace the cap with something else if I wanted. An added bonus: it looks and feels like a miniature version of an adult water bottle, and my daughter loves that she now has one just like her mom's. We tried several other options before this cup, and were disappointed: they all either were too difficult for her to use, or they were difficult to clean, or they leaked. The Nuk Learner cup NUK Fashion Butterflies Learner Cup in Girl Patterns, 5-Ounce worked well for us when she was first starting out with a cup, but she chewed through the soft plastic of the nipple relatively quickly and then it was no longer spill-proof. This bottle might be too big for babies much younger than 15 or 16 months, especially when full, and the Nuk cup was the best alternative we found for her when she was younger. But this Nalgene bottle wins for slightly toddlers, hands down.

8 years and going strong!
We bought our first Nalgene Grip n' Gulp for our toddler in the summer of 2010. It's still going strong 8 years later, as are the others we've accumulated over the years as we've added additional kids to our family. They have traveled everywhere we have, they have been through dishwashers and left in cars and rolled under beds to be forgotten for several months. They've fallen from bunk beds and the tops of cars (oops), they've been rolled in sand at the beach and left in a snowdrift outside. And the things just keep on going and never leak. We've replaced valves on occasion (inexpensive through Nalgene or Amazon), we've upgraded lids (my oldest was around 9 when she decided the sippy lid was too babyish, so we added Nalgene's "On the Fly" lid to our collection) and we've used the heck out of them. We've never had one crack, not the lid or the bottle. They snuggle into bed with the kids every night and have only leaked if we forgot to make sure the valve was completely seated. I can attach a carabiner into the lid and clip it to my kids' backpacks so that they're close at hand (because even in the 21st century school backpacks don't always have water bottle pockets). They are fantastically easy to clean. They don't gather funky tastes or odors. Somewhere along the way we acquired a Camelback kids' plastic water bottle. I was happy with how it cleaned, until I was putting the valve back on once and realized that part of the lid was hollow and was growing things inside. With the Nalgenes, there's nothing you can't see--every piece is solid. I've boiled a valve if it's looked a little brown after a bottle has been forgotten, and it cleans right up. Caveat: we've never allowed anything but water in them. I live in fear of finding random bottles with sour milk or fermented juice in them, so those things are consumed at the table in our house, and the water bottles are for everywhere else. There is nothing about these things I don't like. And did I mention that they never leak? Edit: it's 2023 and these things are still going strong. My own kids have outgrown them, so we handed them down to a friend, and they're still rolling right along, no leaks or anything.
