Great watch. Swapped out the band though, think it goes far better with rubber sport type band. Not a fan of nato strap. Still 5+ for the watch though. Would get again and excited to see any type Hamilton mechanicals or autos in the future.

It is great, I love it. The watch is smaller than I expected. It is a really thin and light watch. The face is very sharp and not too busy. The sandblasted exterior seems a little bit more blemish resistant that polished steel (also a bit less formal). The strap seemed awkward and stiff at first, but I have settled into it and it looks great. My wrist is just under 7" and it fits, but I'm using the smallest hole. Even with this setting, the strap doesn't seem too long. One thing I will say is that this feels to me like a $300 watch, not a $600 watch, which is what I paid for it. That is entering macbook air territory. But, I did buy it, and I'm keeping it.

Love this watch. Looks amazing with a black and gray striped canvas strap!! At 39mm it’s the perfect size for my 7” wrist. This piece is super light and thin due to being manual with no auto rotor. I wanted a manuel wind just to take me back in time to my first Timex I got when i was 8 years old. i’ve been a watch guy ever since. So far it’s keeping great time, similar to my much more expensive Tudor with in house movement. The only thing i don’t care for and it’s just personal taste is the 80 hour power reserve. I was kind of hoping it would need winding every morning. But since i’m now only wearing this occasionally , it’s working out to need a winding every time i use it. For me, winding is just kinda nostalgic and satisfying.

Great watch. Love the look. Negatives: no AR coating making dial hard to read & long lug-to-lug height making this watch wear much bigger than the dial.

Original American made watch from a classic company. Everyone who likes watches should have this field watch.

I was looking for a well-made mechanical watch for every day wear that was also a good value. I love the simple style, easy to read dial, and good water resistance. The price is very reasonable for a Swiss made watch. So far, over 2 weeks, the watch is still on the same time as my smartphone, at least holding within the same minute. I can't ask for more than that. There's a satisfaction one gets from winding the movement that you either understand or don't, and if you do, it's a great every day watch. The only shortcoming this watch, and every watch I've ever bought, has is the strap is too short. It's unfortunate, because the factory strap is really nice and appropriate for the style, but this is always an issue for me. For an every day watch that has a reliable hand wound mechanical movement and is a high quality piece at a good price, you can't go wrong here. Highly recommended. Shopping Hamilton again for a dress watch.

Exactly what I was looking for. Was worried it would look big on my 6.25 inch wrist, but it was perfect for me.

Nach mehrere Wochen Tragen, läuft die Uhr mit 0/+1-2 Sec/Tag, wenn man jeden Tag aufzieht. Also, muss vor einem Vergleich mit meinen R-L-X, Oh-M-G und anderen nicht scheuen, was Funktion betrifft. Aussehen ist klassisch und für den Alltag optimal: man beeindruckt, wen von der Sache versteht, und wer es nicht versteht, ist in meinem Umfeld sowieso nicht vertreten.

This is a well-made comfortable watch. I particularly like the 38mm size. Accuracy and power reserve are excellent, however the lume is not strong enough for a field watch and the crystal needs some anti-reflective coating.
