The media could not be loaded. I’m very impressed with device. Not only is it a powerbank with a capacity of 10,000mAh, but it also has a 1TB hard drive inside. So you can backup your phone and transfer pictures and videos to and from the hard drive.I’ve never seen anything like this before and it works very well. Simply plug the lightning connector into the powerbank/hard drive and into your phone and it starts charging your phone and fires up the hard drive inside as you can hear it spinning. No additional power supply is needed to use this as a hard drive which is great; making it totally portable.It’s perfect for travelling and transferring your photos to the hard drive as a backup in case you damage or lose your phone, and for freeing up storage space on your phone.It came with lots of different cables, Lightning cable, USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-A 3.0 to USB-C cable and a MicroUSB cable.I also plugged it into my MacBook by USB-C and all my original full resolution photos were saved on the hard drive, just like a flash drive. Drag and drop to and from my MacBook. I can even add videos like films to the hard drive from my Macbook and watch them on my iPhone through the app, or transfer it to my iPhone and watch it off my iPhone without them need for the hard drive to be plugged in. 1TB is a massive amount of storage. The app allows you to do a complete backup of all photos and videos from your iPhone which is a good feature.All this while it’s charging your iPhone at the same time!Amazing device. Works well on my iPhone 11 Pro and my MacBook Pro. Bonus of having a built in power-bank too. The app could maybe be updated as it seems a bit complicated at first but that’s something that can easily be done in the future. Would definitely recommend this for travellers to backup iPhone photos, and even photos from your laptop.

The media could not be loaded. We were off on our holidays and wanted some storage space to spill into when taking a zillion photos of the kids.This fitted the bill nicely. The drive is a HDD not SSD but the package is still fair small. Power up on the side and plug into your device of choice. Mine was IOS via the app. Copying photos to the drive was simple (see vid) and the battery has been more than enough.It’s great to be in a hotel room and Download a copy of our photos just in case, all without having to find a power supply.With a Tb to go out this thing will gobble up 4K holiday vids too.

Great bit of kit easy to use especially with my I-Pad.

I have never liked storing my photos, videos and files in a cloud, especially not when my free storage was almost full - I was reluctant to pay for more cloud storage each month.Instead I started looking for an external hard drive, I was immediately drawn to the iDiskk 1TB HDD as it is certified MFi (Made for iPhone / iPad / iPod).I was also very surprised to see it was also a 10,000mAh power bank.Not only is it fast at transferring data but it is also fast at charging devices, it can do both operations at the same time. No need to worry if my phone battery will die during the back up process.I have backed up files from my iPhone 8, iPad and iPad mini onto the iDiskk HDD.I use my iPad mini with my drone and I have had a lot of photo and video footage stored on it, I have transferred it all on to my iDiskk HDD with no problem.I use an action camera when I am cycling and have that App on my iPhone, this storage soon gets full after a few trips.The iDiskk App is easy to use and browse my backed up data.Each time a device is plugged into the iDiskk any new videos etc. are automatically backed up.I have finally freed up space on my devices, I have always been reluctant to do this when using cloud storage - always worried in case I lost the files permanently.Size wise it is a similar size to my iPhone 8, just a bit thicker and nearly twice the weight. I don't see this as a problem as it is always handy to have spare battery power with you.All in all a very worth while purchase, which will keep me backed up for sometime to come …. hopefully!

Bought full price an year ago with excitement only to end as money and time waster, as well as nerve breaker. How many times did it start a back up and then just switched off loosing all the data, again and again. This thing simply doesn’t work, it never did! Stayed in a cupboard most of the time with no use. I should have written this review the moment I bought it: what a waste!!! If you’re thinking of buying it - PLEASE DONT BOTHER!

I disliked the fact that the installation instructions don’t appear to be very clear. I initially downloaded the incorrect software for this drive to my iPhone, therefore had issues trying to make it work! When I eventually went to Apple apps, and selected’photo bank’ it was pretty straightforward and much easier to use!! The quality of this drive appears to be very good and feels very solid. Obviously time will tell how it continues to perform, but thus far very happy with it. Storage capacity is great too. I can recommend this drive. I attempted to get a few flash drive pens to insert into my phone port, but due to my all around case on the phone, these didn’t insert sufficiently into my phone to be recognised, the lightening cable provided with this fits well with my iPhone, my only criticism of it is the cable is relatively pretty short in length!

At first, all was well. In fact very well. Now, the thing wont charge so useless. What a waste of time and money!

Great device for I pads and iPhones but don’t do what I did : I downloaded loads from my i pad but then connected to my Mac before formatting and lost loads of data. Format the Mac first and you won’t have a problem I don’t think. It’s fast, convenient and the only device I know that will link an external hard drive to an I pad or I phone.
