Natural Twisted Cotton Rope - Soft But Strong - Assorted Colors - 1/2 Inch Diameter (Navy, 100 Feet)

Great, soft rope used for a stage prop. Easy to handle as it is soft and not scratchy, very flexible and without stiffiners. With that in mind, it can be unspun easier than a standard jute rope but did not cause my project any issue.

I used this rope for handles on a step stool for my granddaughter. It's soft for her little hands... Not that she can reach both sides of the stepstool just yet, but when she can, it will be comfortable to handle. I taped the ends to prevent it unraveling while I worked with it, then I did common whipping on the ends when I finished cutting it to size. I wish it was a bit less wimpy, soft or loosely woven, but it was advertised properly and I knew what I was getting when I ordered it. It was hard to find this color pink in a short length. It turned out fine on the end.

Fantastic as a decorative addition, but horrible for hanging yourself when your wife asks you to assemble it, or go shopping for more, when she didn’t order a long enough piece!

This rope is soft and very pretty. I think the price is a little too high $16.49 for 25 ft., but I couldn't find light gray rope anywhere else without having to buy a spool of it. I needed for a Christmas gift I was making for a relative so I paid the price. It kept coming untwisted at the end, burning it didn't work to keep it together and glue didn't work either. I ended up having to use packaging tape to keep the ends together and thankfully the ends were on the back of the project I made using this rope, but it still looked awful to me. My relative loved her gift and didn't mind it because the back would face her wall, but still I like for my projects to have a nice finished look. I will not buy this again for that reason. I would recommend this product to someone is very experienced at using soft rope in their projects because they more than likely know how to fix this issue. But I do not recommend it for a beginner rope project user such as myself.

I purchased this rope to make a longer strap for my navy & white striped beach bag. The beach bag came with shorter off white rope handles. I purchased the navy rope to help keep dirt from showing & to extended the length of the strap so I can carry it over my shoulder. I duct taped the ends with navy duct tape to keep the ends from fraying. I think it will work nice for my upcoming cruise.
