read in one seating
Have been interested in WW2 history since my early teens, I enjoyed this book's "trivia". The factual telling of the war did not state anything that I hadn't read before. Book was easy to read and provided a quiz after each chapter to reinforce what you just read.

A wonderful very interesting book
Bill O'Neill's trivia book is delightful. It is filled with facts and stories we should know. They are fascinating and can form the basis for interesting conversations. For example: Hitler wanted to be an artist. He never planned to be the leader of Germany. In 1907, he tried and failed to get into art school. He was not a fan of modern paintings. Later, Germany went to a lot of trouble to make him seem like an attractive leader. His hair and mustache were purposely designed to make him look good. He was "Man of the Year" in the Time magazine of 1938, and Time praised him highly.
