Ok so I bought these to put on my bedroom door as my daughter is constantly going in there when she is playing upstairs. I have medication in my room I don’t want her accessing and so I purchased these in hopes of stopping her opening the door as when I stand there to stop her, she screams like a banshee!easy to install and to operate and has good adherence to the door.However, they are the only positives. This item does not work for stopping children opening doors.My daughter is 1! 1 year old and as soon as she pulled the door handle the lock broke to pieces from the hinge. The hinge has two smaller round parts that work as part of the lock. When these fell on the floor my daughter picked them up with the intention of putting them in her mouth! Obviously I was with her but they should not be this easy to break or advertised as a child safety device when they are clearly not safe to have around young children.These are not made for children.

Even though the product didn't work for us, the customer service has been great.

I bought these as my 45kg Rottweiler opens the doors on a nightThey certainly work. She can no longer let herself through the door and it is much neater than the baracades we had in place.With force, they will push down, however I think that would only be if you locked yourself in and needed to push the handle down.They stick really really wellIf they don't break with a rottweiler pushing them, they're good for anything.If you have little people who swing off door handles or such like, I don't think these would work but for the price, it would definately be worth a go. (You can always return them)

There is nothing I dislike about the item, it was easy to install and very easy to use

Easy installation as it's just stuck onto the door, but the sturdiness of the lock isn't great. My 2yr old can still open the door when it is locked. We continue to use it as a deterrent, but it doesn't stop the kids from coming in.
