Bought this to hold my phone on the go, I also play ice hockey. It's a neat gadget for us hockey themed buyers. The phone does rest on a tilt so be aware of that if you need it to stand straight up. You can also put a hair tie or something behind the phone to make it stand up straight, that is what I did when needed. Also hold my iPads large and small. Game on!

I’ve never played nor watched hockey a single time in my life. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Doesn’t matter tho. If you want a stand rigid enough to hold your phone, but soft enough not to scratch it. Heavy enough to stay put, but small and light enough to be moved easily. Durable enough to last. A wide enough slot that you won’t have to remove your phone case. The very definition of perfection of simplicity. Two minor gripes: firstly, it needs to be on a flat surface to work properly. It tips over super easily on carpet. Secondly, when the slot was milled, it seems no one bothered to deburr it- little extrusions on top and danglies on the sides. I managed to mostly fix it with a combination of files and utility knife, but that really oughtn’t have been necessary. Bonus feature: the size, shape, and grippy-ness of it turned out to be a perfect way to elevate a game controller so the triggers don’t mush into the table. Though the slot is superfluous for this application, so when I decided I wanted to dedicate one each to both my phone and controller, I saved money and bought an ordinary hockey puck for the controller’s sake.

What a cool idea. I got this puck phone holder for a friend that is a super hockey fan. It was a huge hit. It’s got a nice weight to it to make it stable and you can put the phone any direction you want. That thing is going to last forever too. Will never break no matter what you do to it. It’s a hocky puck for heaven sake.
