Columbia Mens Bahama Ii Short Sleeve Shirt

I work Quality Control at a fabrication plant. I am outside all day either in the shop or in the sun looking at oil and gas equipment. My shop has a high standard for cleanliness, quality, and proficiency/efficiency. That and my position requires me too often "dress to impress" as the sales team is always riding around with customers showing them the facility and as you would expect they always want to talk to the QC guy. I’ve tried "polo" style shirts, T-shirts, and many other button up shirts. I always got Pit stains and a big wet spot on my back. to be expected I cover 30 acers on foot several times a day. finally I broke down a got these Columbia shirts. They are nice thin and breathable without being see-though the material is durable and can take some abuse. my favored part is the back were the shirt has vents that allow a constant air flow. These shirts really make a difference. They absorb moisture but it doesn't show unless it’s a lot and they air dry rather quickly. Since I’ve started wearing these I feel cooler I’m not seating through my cloths as often and I just over all feel more comfortable especial when I’m standing in front of a salesman and customer "pit stain free". I whole heartedly love these shirts and would recommend them to anyone who wants to stay cool and dry in a hot or humid work environment while still maintaining a professional look.

This is a really nice sports shirt and my “go-to” shirt for casual Friday at the office or any outdoor activities (football games, baseball games, picnics, beach, etc.). I bought it primarily because it has built-in sunscreen to protect my skin from the bright/hot Texas sun. The color of this shirt is a beautiful cobalt blue that looks nice with my tan skin and dark hair. I must have 10+ Columbia Tamiami shirts, both short sleeve as well as long sleeve, for all indoor-outdoor occasions. These shirts are incredibly lightweight and wick away moisture really well, keeping me cool in the Texas heat. They also wash and dry really nicely and never need ironing. Amazon has a great price, which is much less than the Columbia retail price. This shirt is definitely worth more money and looks much more expensive than it was. I'm pleased with my purchase definitely recommend this shirt, especially if you're looking for sun protection. It's the perfect thing to wear in Texas or any place with a bright sun.

I love these Columbia fishing shirts, even when I'm not fishing! Very comfortable, wicks away moisture, and breath nicely when it's hot due to the vented back-panel. Plenty of pocket space for the cell phone. I'm 6' 300lbs and the XX lg fit me loosely.

The color is a deep, deep Navy Blue, too deep really. Amazon sent me the wrong color. I ordered a Collegiate Navy blue, much lighter in color with sort of a grey/green tint from what I could tell from the picture. I will keep it to avoid hassle of returning as I live in a small town. I do love the Columbia light weight UV protection nylon fabric. It is quite cool out in warm weather and protects on from the sun if wearing an long sleeve version of it. Short sleeve is nice too. I use both, as I need extra sun protection while taking in a certain drug that makes my skin sun sensitive to burning badly.

My husband is always an XL in everything (very reliable) and the sizing of these Columbia shirts is highly variable depending on style. It’s impossible to see the differences on the models, so I’m happy to explain what we discovered to save you the same hassle. We ordered 3 different cuts in Columbia men’s field shirts. The seamed fairly comparable in quality and UV protection. Silver ridge 2.0 long sleeve: runs very small. An XL would not fit at all. Arms are also very slender, you would have to order 1-2 sizes up if you have large biceps. A very very slim fit. Bonehead shirt: runs large. An XL fit but was extremely baggy. We are going to keep it, the extra room could be advantageous hiking in hot weather. This is an ideal shirt if you like the loose, baggy look/fit. We could have sized down one size and it would have still fit. Bahama: fits exactly as expected. Tight enough to wear to dinner yet comfortable and roomy enough to wear on a hike. Hopefully this information helps you find the right fit and saves you some hassle. Good luck!

Great shirt. Fits well. It washes really well if taken out of dryer in 1-3 min and put on hanger to dry looks just like new. We have bought shirts from Columbia for 30 plus years and have never been disappointed.

I have 4 other Tamiami II short sleeve shirts that are always my go to. The material is great for hot weather. I am 6' 215lbs with an old man stomach, and the large fits like most XL shirts. I accidentally ordered this Bahama II and almost cancelled the order. Glad now that I didn't cancel. The fit seems to be a bit more snug than the Tamiami II. The material is not quite as thin but still very nice and cool. I like the pocket flaps to give a bit different style at times. I always wear the shirt tail out, and it is plenty long for that. I did get the white so only time will tell how long it keeps its clean look. I would like to have another few colors of the Bahama II. No way to go wrong with Columbia brand. This shirt comes up huge. My husband is an XL and got a medium so size down at least one size when ordering. Very fast service considering it came from USA to UK. This is the shirt that Luke Combs wears.
