Spectra Premium GM22B Fuel Tank

I was concerned that this would not be delivered promptly because no shipping update was available for 48 hours, even though I am a Prime member. However, I received notification a day before it arrived, so it was a Sunday purchase that I received on the following Wednesday, not bad for such a bulky item. My tank is OEM as far as I can tell, and it has a plastic baffle box for the pump and sending unit that cost me a tow bill when the idiot who changed out the pump just before I bought the pickup had not fastened properly. It was held in place by a friction washer on a metal post fastened to the tank bottom. The box had loosened enough to break the pump loose. Anyway, this tank has a metal baffle box that is spot welded to the bottom of the tank, so hopefully this is a better design, it should outlast the truck. The shipping box looked like it had been dragged through a war zone, but the tank inside was in great shape. Made in Canada, for those who are interested.

I bought this to replace my old tank which was rusting through, was cheaper than a O.E.M. replacement. The complaints about fuel slosh level, the one I purchased had the same style baffles in the bottom to prevent it from fully sloshing around at lower levels for a more accurate reading, they may of had issues it the sending unit was positioned in a way that it swings long ways in the tank instead of width ways which would show more degree of change in the readings. After opening it out of the box, I sprayed it with a primer then followed up with a rubberized undercoating around the tank before mounting it to prevent this one from rusting through

The fuel tank was shipped promptly and the description was accurate..a few dings and dents but otherwise operational. The dings and dents do not affect the fuel tank's fit and operation.

Better than factory tank, well made quality tank and 1/2 price of local stores, arrived fast and damage free...

ok so found out the hard way that direct fit on amazon doesn't exist.This tank I bought for my truck which originally had the larger factory tank, I only bought the smaller tank because I do not need to haul around 33 gallons of fuel, and it was supposed to be a direct fit.howevermy stock fuel pump would not fit into this tank. it was way to tall and around a 1/2' bigger in diameter than the hole.so brand new tank I hard to cut a larger hole in and self tap screw my fuel pump with metal bands and caulkyup whatever.

This 34 gallon tank fit perfect into my 1995 Chevy K2500, I painted it with undercoating before installation. It did not include a new locking ring.
