Understanding and Using English Grammar with Audio CDs and Answer Key (4th Edition)

I have the previous editions as well, but this one is a real knock-out! Based on communicative activities, mainly helps you to finish the item after only one page of practice. The graphic explanations of the tenses are clear and to the point. The drawings are colorful this time. I don't see myself using the disc in class, although it can be a positive addition for those who have the necessary time, or don't need a review. All in all, I'm definitely going to integrate it in my lessons starting next year (this one is almost over), I see it as a necessary addition.Thanks for a wonderful grammar book!

I highly recommend any of the books in the Azar series. I especially appreciate the many opportunities and activities given to practice in speaking and listening. The explanations are excellent - no other book does it better. Been using these for 20 years.

My students love this. It explains grammar very well. I have students do a chapter a week on their own and check their own answers. Then they can ask me about anything they still don't understand and I can do some of the speaking exercises with them to check their understanding.

Simple grammar explanations with charts for advanced English learners. "Hats off" to Betty Azar. I heard that these were her original grammar lesson plans to native students of English... Who would know??? Wish we could update them with color images though.

The book is great, the grammar is very good and I thing is a very good investment for your education the only problem I found 2 months later is that one of the pages in the book, is damaged I haven't noticed it because is one on the middle, I didn't review the book page by page when it arrived home, right now I was trying to fill a claim or to return it but the policy return says that they are going to refund me just a part of my payment and I have to paid the shipping so I decided to keep my book, it's a shame because I was planning to sell it to the end of my semester and with this damage probably is going to get devaluated.To conclude I strongly recommend this book, but I suggest you guys to check it very carefully to be sure it is not damaged like mine :-(

There are lots of activities to do with students, and I especially appreciated the audio practices.I don't know that it is perfectly organized, I think there are gaps in how the exercises progress...but you can pick and choose and make it work.I bought it, it helped me. Glad I had it.

This is such an excellent way to learn about English, and frankly, while it certainly helps English as a Second Language Learners, it can help anyone learn more about English.

It's amazing! Everything : book, CD are new but it's cheaper a lot than the book a bought at book store. They charged me $65 for it but this one on amazon is just $45. :)
