A great option for printer ink at a great price point.

I buy new ink often and wish these would last longer and were cheaper. I’m a teacher and have a limited copy budget. That said, I tend to print from home a lot. Unfortunately, I go through ink way too quickly! They work great, just are a bit pricey.

Always buy the genuine ink cartridges and this didn't disappoint.

We have owned numerous Canons and an Epson Workforce. When ink jet printers first came out the ink wasn't so expensive. Now, the ink seems to cost as much as the entire printer. I tried fill-your-ink cartridges but it was a huge hassle and messy. Since those days, I've always bought Canon ink (and Epson) and the ink works well and is wonderful. Still, I so dislike a new round of ink costing $50-70! So I caved and bought a Canon laser printer. We're using the laser for school and documents that don't need color and the ink jet for color documents.

Can't complain, except generally they don't last long. I got an HP printer and "instant ink," and found that their inks last a WHOLE lot longer. I think they simply add more to the cartridges for this service than they do those they sell in stores and online. But I don't know for sure. It'd make sense, regarding profitability. Everyone knows the profit is in the ink, not the printers.

Headline is all you need to know. I strongly caution anyone from using "compatible" inks no matter their source. I had an older "pro" model which was in perfect shape. The only draw back was finding ink (bci series) and when found very expensive. Within 2 months of using 3rd party ink from a popular company, the print heads clogged and could not be effectively cleaned. The only solution was to replace the printhead which given age was impossible to find (as new). This occurred eventhough I had been printing on a daily basis. It should be noted that in all the years I had this printer utilizing proper maintenance, I never encountered any problem until i switched from official Canon inks. I suppose it may have been time to update / upgrade my photo printer which I did but in reality there was no need as my older printer was producing excellent quality prints - Until ....

The product is good. It was the Amazon packing that destroyed the item’s container; leaving me unsure if powder ink was damaged and spill out. I returned the items.

Not to much to say about this item except that cartridge and the ink have been flawless over years and years of orders and use.

I use this in my Canon inkjet printer and it works great. Easy to install. I have ordered this product several times and it has never failed to perform.

Same old good quality Canon ink cartridge!

Price could always be better

This is supposed to last longer than the one that the printer came with. Let's see. I will update my review if it doesn't last.
