New Balance Women's JoJo Thong Sandal

I bought 2 sets of New Balance Jojo flip flops (navy & aqua) to replace a pair I purchased over 4 years ago. I have worn them as house shoes daily since purchasing. These are not only the most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned, but also the only ones which haven’t come apart after a few months of daily use. I love how they form to your feet over time as I struggle with foot pain problems. I only decided to replace because the traction (on the bottom) had worn down making them very slick, they looked really worn out (despite still being comfortable), & I wanted to be able to wear them to & from yoga without being embarrassed. I was disappointed when these replacement pairs first arrived because New Balance has changed the sole of the shoe to a textured finish. I found it to be uncomfortable at first, mainly because I was used to the previous buttery smooth sole. I am happy to say after a few days of “breaking in” they are just as comfortable as my previous pair. I was initially hesitant to spend $30+ on a pair of flip flops when I purchased my first pair. However 4 years later I feel they are well worth the investment due to the comfort, & durability. I get compliments on them all of the time.

I bought a pair of these New Balance Jojo flipflops 3 summers ago. They finally wore out, so I purchased another pair in a slightly different color. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The sole is flexible enough to be comfortable, but thick enough to keep stickers from stabbing my feet. They aren't completely flat like many flipflops, but they really don't offer a lot of arch support. I really appreciate how there is no "wear in" requirement for these shoes. I have had other flipflops where the piece that goes between the toes has to be broken in before it is comfortable--these are great straight out of the box. Additionally, the seams on the straps don't rub or cause any irritation. I wear flipflops all day, every day, for about 8 months out of the year. With that kind of wear, I probably should have replaced these last summer, but just never got around to it. The bottom sole wore out much more quickly than the upper sole. They dry quickly in the summer and I have even tossed them in the washing machine a few times. I'll probably continue to buy these until they are discontinued, and then I will have to find another pair that I like as well.

I do like the shoes, last time I bought a 6, (what I have worn in the past) and needed a 7, so I purchased correctly this time. They do run a little small. My original ones also seemed to have a really soft footbed, that breaks in over time. I think these will as well ,but the feel is a little different. I think the whole shoe has changed a bit over the years, and not quite the quality. Still like the shoe, and the fact that it molds to your foot. I would recommend them, just size up.

This is the best flip flop I have ever encountered, and this is my third pair. (I didn't replace them as they wore out, as my first pair lasted years, they just suffered a pet related demise and needed replacement, and since they are awesome, why not get more than one color?) The fit well, and after a few wearings, are molded a bit to your feet. The foot bed has a brushed, chamois like feel to it that prevents that heavy foot sweating some plastic/rubber footwear cause, and the upper has a soft cloth underside to protect your foot from rubbing and blisters. Light weight, comfortable, and all in all a great casual shoe. Keep in mind that while the other New Balance flops are OK, the JoJo in particular is the best.

I bought 2 pairs of these (in navy) from Amazon because they're no longer available in stores. They did not arrive as promised but they are exactly as pictured and described. They're the 7th and 8th pairs (in this color) I've owned to date. They are lightweight, true-to-size fit, and have great support for high arches. I wear these for most every activity (to work, weekends at the lake, boating, walking my dog, working in the yard, doing housework, at the beach, at 3 annual conferences when walking from my hotel room to the conference area at The Mirage, MGM, and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas).

This sandal's sole adjusts to the owner's foot, so it becomes more comfortable after several wearings. I appreciate the arch support and I normally buy a size 8 or 8.5 (depending on the brand) and have a somewhat wide foot, but found the 8 to fit well. The sandals do feel slippery when they get wet, so wouldn't recommend them for the pool or any watery locale. They're more comfortable that the "flip-flops" with thin or super-stiff soles, but I generally wear these around the house or for short errands. I didn't give these a higher rating because I still need walking shoes for when I'm going to the park or planning a long outing.

I ordered these because they have a nice arch support and I cannot wear the cheap flats anymore. They are very comfortable and seem like they will hold up well. The arch support is nice, it's not overly supportive like the vionic's but it's a good arch support for a reasonable priced flip flop! I ordered the 8's and they just fit my feet, I normally wear an 8.5 (sometimes 9) but they were out of stock when I ordered mine. I think they will give a little as I wear them more, so the 8's will be ok. If you are looking for a nice arch supportive flip flop that also has a comfortable foot bed... This IS your pair! I love mine! 😊

I have a size 7 which is much roomier because as you wear it it begins to mold to your foot. I did not realize how tight the new size 7 would be. I compared the size of the soles to my old pair and they matched. I have been wearing the new jojos for a few days and they are already starting to loosen up. Even tight they are the most comfortable flip flops I have. The box got crushes in shipping but there was no harm done to the shoes inside.
