Dishwasher Magnet Clean Dirty Sign, Strong Clean and Dirty Magnet for Dishwasher (Funny Pirate Skull)

There's not a lot you can say about a magnet, but I have to say, this one is pretty cool.My husband and I work opposite of one another a lot of times, and sometimes, it's a guessing game whether the dishes are clean or not, depending on what's in the washer. Well, the guessing games are finally over, and we chuckle every time we look at the dishwasher, especially because I bought two of these funny magnets, the other being the WTF/OMG magnet.The magnet itself is nice and sturdy, not just another cheap, floppy magnet. It's got a shiny coating on the front side, so it won't wear out, and it's pretty thick, for a magnet, so it's very magnetic, and doesn't budge when you flip the door to the dish washer open and closed.Overall, I definitely recommend these magnets to anyone looking for a practical, funny way to let everyone in the house know that the dishes are in fact, clean.

I was excited to receive my new magnet and the promise of an end to the confusion in my household over the state of the dishes in the dishwasher.Unfortunately, I have to report that while this is a cute novelty, it's not built to last. If I had read the description more closely, I might have suspected that it wouldn't hold up. The description says "Printed White Paper with Scratch Resistant Mylar". More accurately, it is a thin sheet of metal wrapped in a paper printout and covered with a sheet of clear plastic. The four edges of the metal/paper/plastic combo are folded around a piece of stiff plastic and a magnet is glued to the back.I think that this design might work well enough for a refrigerator magnet that would be very rarely moved, but it doesn't work well when it's frequently pulled on. The problem is that only a few millimeters of material are folded over attaching the image to the magnet. After several weeks of lifting it from the dishwasher to flip and replace it, the front has come detached from the back.I think i'll end up just gluing the front to the back to try and get a bit more life out of it

My roommate and I had trouble keeping track of whether the other person ran the dishwasher or not and at one point we ran the same load three times. This is a cute little magnet and it's has made it very easy to tell whether the dishes are clean or dirty at one glance.

My daughter moved into an apartment with a dishwasher for the first time since she has been on her own! Oh Joy! However, finding a magnet to say whether the dishes are clean or dirty was not so easy. I looked on good old Amazon.com and oh the choices!!! My daughter likes pirates so this one is just perfect. I was saving it for her birthday but I may not be able to wait since I am so excited to give it to her!

Between sharing household upkeep with my husband, I've had to rely on the 'sniff test' more than once to double-check whether the dishwasher had been ran. This made a perfect little stocking stuffer for my husband for Christmas. He got a kick out of the pirate motif and thought the magnet would be handy. We then learned the dishwasher wasn't actually magnetic, but it is prominently displayed on the refrigerator! :) Compact size and looks exactly as pictured.

I want to love this but it sticks hard to the dishwasher so it's a pain to flip around. Would rather have a design where you don't have to move the MAGNET, but some other piece of the sign rotates or flips so its easy to do. It is however super cute.***Updated*** - Started having rust leaking into the white side after about a year. Not so cute anymore, but still using it after 3 years- mostly cuz haven't run across a good replacement

WHat can I say. It's a magnet that tells you if your dishes are clean or dirty. But it is done in a very unique cool way. Arrghh. In Pirate speak. Everyone that comes over and sees it wants one.SO get one and impress your friends too
