I Am a Big Brother (Caroline Jayne Church)

Very sweet. Our 20 month old has been asking us to read it most nights for the last few months. It is the sweetest of the big brother books we have found for him. Text is very easy to understand and is relatable for a young toddler. The images are sweet and show the big brother doing simple helpful tasks that introduce concepts like being quiet for the baby’s nap, and what a loving family of four looks like, giving a group hug. This is a great introduction to being a big brother for younger toddlers. It is also sturdy. While not a board book, the pages are sturdy like laminated card stock. I am not afraid of it ripping with our rough housing toddler.

It’s beautifully made, sturdy for little hands, and quickly becomes a bedtime favorite. If you’re expecting another child and want something special to help your older kid feel included, this book is absolutely perfect. A heartwarming must-have for growing families!

This is such a cute book! I have it to my grandson when he was about to become a big brother. He loved it. Great little story for preparing to become a big brother.

Very cute book and perfect for our 2 year old to get ready for his little brother’s arrival.

Bought for my two year old and he enjoys reading this. He has learned ti help out too from this book. Hes always telling us to empty the diaper genie now lol. Cute book and perfect for a two year old. Hard cover but the pages are like cardstock. I prefer board books at this age but he hasnt ripped any of these pages as they are thicker then paper.

The book is very well written & illistrated for toddlers to understand. The book makes the Big Brother feel very important & special. The book is so sweet & cute. A wonderful gift!

The book is cute, but I could not give it five stars because of the wonky condition the cover and pages are in.

We got this book to read to our son before his new baby brother came and it was perfect. It’s very simple and to the point and paints being a big brother and being helpful so nicely. My son got very excited about his new role and how he could help with the new baby. I would absolutely recommend and would buy it again. The pictures are cute and the book is simple, perfect for my almost 3 year old.

Used this as our baby announcement with our toddler reading the book. It was adorable and the read is a good one as well.
