Excellent!
Excellent! I bought them to hang up lights during DJ events and have not been disappointed. Ability to make them less than 10 feet is a plus!

Super impressed, great budget option for green screen shoots
You absolutely cannot beat this for the price. I needed a budget backdrop stand that was big AND sturdy enough to support a 9 ft. collapsible green screen, and this was perfect. I have only used them once so far so this is my initial impression.Materials & construction - I was pretty impressed with the stands. They are lightweight but not cheap feeling. They adjust well, and I like how they have a spring suspension in them that helps with mounting and adjusting height. The spread of the stand base is very good, and supported/distributed the weight very well. The crossbar probably could be sturdier, but it's what I'd expect for this price range. It did bend downward in the middle from the weight of the backdrop, but that was not an issue. If that bothers you, you can probably put a wooden dowel or broomstick down the pole to help stabilize it. The plastic parts were made of pretty sturdy plastic, not that cheap-o stuff that I was afraid of getting with a cheaper kit.Setup - I was able to set it up and mount a fairly bulky collapsible screen to it by myself with no issues. The pieces were easy to assemble and pretty straightforward.Downside - Only thing I was not impressed with was the construction of the bag. The bag material is fairly lightweight for holding a bunch of metal pieces, it's not padded, and I imagine the inside seams would get stressed and torn pretty easily if you are not careful with it. But, for the price, I can't dock any stars because it's still WAY worth the money. I have used similar quality stands that cost 4x as much.

Loving it so far.
This item is very sturdy. I bought it even though it was more expensive than a few of the others after reading the reviews. I'm glad I did. There were a total of 7 pieces in the box: 2 end supports, 4 parts to crossbar and the carrying case. All very nice, and sturdy. This went together in a flash, about 15 minutes on my first try. Did not even need the instructions. I have used it with one inexpensive 10x10 vinyl backdrop so far without any issues. The crossbar is actually about 9'9"....not quite 10'. Also, if you have all 4 crossbars installed, there is about a 1" sag in the middle of the bar. There was a piece of paper inside the case that told me this...this caused very little problem, I simply had to adjust the middle of my backdrop a little after I had it up. One final note, if you wait to raise it until 'after' you have the backdrop attached on the crossbar, you'll probably need one person at each end to raise the crossbar to your desired height. If you're working alone, you may want to have a step ladder available and attach the backdrop after the support is hoisted all the way up to the height you desire. I would recommend that you purchase a set of 6-10 clamps to secure your backdrop to this stand, these do a better job of simply 'hanging' the backdrop over the crossbar. I love this item so far. I have another (cloth) backdrop on the way and will let you know if I encounter any problems using this item with it.

Easy to install
This item was easy to install but did show a slight bend in the middle. For the length it covers, a middle support would have made this a 5 star item. I am sure curtain accents would hide the bend but this was unboxed the day of my event with little to no time to add extra embellishments. Overall happy with the purchase due to not finding many options at 10ā x 15ā to match same measurements as my backdrop. Lot of clamps made the oversight of no middle support forgivable.

Broken part
Nice and heavy duty but one of the stand legs came broken. Iām hoping just to replace the part.

Great price...Good product...I would buy it again...
For the money you will have a very difficult time finding a better product. The vertical posts are made of thick, tubular metal and should hold up to light/medium use. The top posts use a screw and wing nut to attach the horizontal bar. This system works well and is fairly strong. The tri-pod expands to create a stable base as long as it isn't over-weighted. I recommend using sandbags outdoors in cases where wind is present. The horizontal bar separates into four sections allowing for various widths. Using all four sections gives you 12' in overall width. The bar sags under its own weight at 12' as should be expected. It will sag more with the weight of a backdrop.Overall construction is solid but meant for light/medium duty. This is not a professional rig yet it is great of beginners or as a light duty travel set. This item is made for portability and/or quick set ups. It takes very little time to set up the entire system (10 min.). The carry bag is made well and should last a while (again, it's a light use item).I would buy it again. I look forward to using the system in the years ahead.

This is a solid item and a solid purchase!
It is sturdy but not too heavy, easy to set up and folds down nicely- truthfully, putting the screen on it is more hassle. I am SO glad I got this...it was well worth it. I use this to put a green screen up behind me for video making purposes for the internet (my back faces a room at the computer). I'm happy as a clam with it even after several months of regular use and I can see as long as I take reasonable care of it and don't bash it around, that it will last me a very long time..if not the rest of my life. I'll probably end up passing it down to my kids....good thing my son is very into photography and will have good use for it.
