Franklin Sports Mini Hockey Goal Set of Two

I was so happy to find out there’s no assembly required! The last one I bought took a while to assemble and would constantly fall apart, it was very frustrating. I would highly recommend this set!

I bought this for my brother in law and my nephew for Christmas because they wanted something they could do together inside when it was too cold. We’re a pretty active/athletic family and like to play games together, my nephew is only 2 so I made sure I got a set they could use with several friends and adults could also play. I figured if you’re going to buy something of that size you might as well do it right and get something anyone can actually have a more realistic game with. It’s the perfect size for my 2yo nephew to learn to play hockey with because of the knee hockey length sticks and fun for everyone to play a game of knee hockey together because of the extra sticks and second net. I intended it to be a good size for my nephew to play soccer with but never expected all the different games my brother in law has incorporated it into! Lol I’m super happy with the size and the ability to easily store it in a little space! I also picked the black to match the esthetic and any potential hockey team my nephew chooses to be a fan of! lol I think it’s a pretty perfect gift for those two and I love it because I have a ton of fun playing as an adult with or without my nephew whenever I come over! Lol

It's a mini hockey goal set for $30, so don't expect so much. Had ours for 5+ years. The stitching is pretty cheap and I had to patch it up in a few places on both nets. Also, the elbow durability is quite low. The typical kiddo wear and tear things start falling apart after a while, but for ~$20 you can buy 12x 3/4" PVC elbows and some lengths of piping and replace the frame in about 10 mins... Yeah, it's no longer foldable, and yeah it brings the total cost to $50 and you can probably find better at that price point, but if you've already bought this set it's an option. I think the 3/4" PVC elbows would fit the stock tubes, so you can get the "upgrade" cost down, but the original tubes are flimsy. My boy still loves playing with it, so there's that...

Franklin’s Mini Hockey Set is wonderful, this isn’t our first purchase and it won’t be our last. Two (2) collapsible nets (well made, travel with constantly and never an issue with breakdown or setup), four (4) sticks, four (4) balls and a drawstring carrying bag. When my boys were little this was the set we had at home and took on travel trips. The uncles bought this as a Christmas gift for their young nephew and he is obsessed! Yes, we had to buy the set so everyone could play. My boys spent hours for years playing knee hockey, now my grandson is waking his own Mom up dragging it into their room for a quick game before daycare. Have a couple more babies in the family, looks like it’s going to be a Christmas tradition to gift this set to each new hockey family member as they grow.

This has been the biggest hit of my son’s 6th birthday. My kids don’t just use the hockey net as a net- it is also a canopy over their beds, a fort to read in, a wheelbarrow for their stuffies. It’s so easy to set up and take down. Since it all goes into the little bag we haven’t lost any piece. It’s awesome for our living room hockey but I didn’t expect it to be so fun for all the other things too!

Great gift for a sports lover, perfect to use when kids are stuck inside on cold days. Easy to store away when they aren’t using
