Soft, but heavy
Excellent choice for learners that don't want to sustain injuries from wildly thrown balls. No broken windows yet, either. My 7 year old took a couple shots in the leg and stomach, and didn't complain too much.

good for practicing
Not the same as the lacrosse league balls that they played with at his high school. Softer and not as heavy...which is still a great practicing ball for home.

Not The Firm Version
I was looking for firm Lacrosse Balls - like the one that my CrossFit gym uses. The description didn't let me know that these were very soft, squishy balls. I was disappointed when I got my package. I would not have guessed that Lacrosse Balls game in that version. If the description had stated they were soft I would not have purchased. Now, I have to pay for return shipping and need to find the right version for my needs.

A bit too bouncy
A pack of six for ten bucks is good, though these are a bit bouncy. It does teach my son how to catch and try to keep the ball in the net, and I can see that, when we go to a real lacrosse ball, he will have an easier time of handling. They don't hurt when you get hit. So while I am not completely disappointed, we do find them to be a bit difficult.

too soft
didn't realize that these balls were so soft and squishy. Not good for practicing or using either indoors or outdoors.

These are great! Lighter than regulation ball and surprisingly dense with reasonable weight to it. Much better than a tennis ball. Pretty good substitute that won't break windows or dent garage door, tested it yesterday before letting my son go all out and no concerns. Also tried it on drywall in basement and no concerns there either. I'm not worried my 4 year will get hurt when hit by these when practicing catch with me. Obviously it would knock over a lamp or other valuables, I'd be carful around electronics or flatscreen TV.I do wish it had some distinctive color or markings, to easily distinguish it from regulation balls as we've got a big flower pot with ~20 balls in it and it would be nice to know which was which when reaching for a particular ball.

Not as soft as real lacrosse ball, but still hard enough to hurt!
These are good, but not great! My son loves lacrosse, so we buy these to play with in the backyard. They are softer than a normal lacrosse ball, but will still hurt when hit with.

My dog is a pretty aggressive chewer
I bought these for my dog, so if you are planning on using these as lacrosse balls, disregard. I was looking for a ball that wouldn't damage teeth (tennis ball hair is abrasive and will actually wear down dogs teeth, particularly if they mouth the ball when they fetch), would float for use in water retrieves, and was durable enough to stand up to extended use. These balls fail only on the last one. My dog is a pretty aggressive chewer, and actual lacrosse balls and the goughnut products are the only thing that can stand up to her. She destroys a kong extreme in a few minutes. The description of these (or the q&a) suggests that these are hollow. They're not. Instead of dense lacrosse ball rubber, these are made of light foam rubber and are solid but soft. The skin is thin, and my dog pulled pieces off them in short order. While these might be a great solution for lacrosse training for young kids, or maybe for retrieving for a gentler dog, they are not the bulletproof but floating lacrosse balls I was looking for.

Lightweight lacrosse balls
These lacrosse balls weigh 1/2 of what the standards do (75g vs 150g each), yet bounce identically, making them suitable for younger players, those who want to not be knocked out on impact, and many other purposes such as mine: landing feet for a DIY drone!
