I'm a Caucasian woman with short, fine hair. I was looking for a brush I could use to get to the scalp, but the bristles are so close together and there are so many that the don't reach the scalp. They brush over the top of the hair. Very soft bristles, as advertised, but doesn't work for what I was hoping for. Maybe not meant for Caucasian hair. If I had gotten the medium stiffness and there weren't so many bristles so close together, it might work. Nice wooden base though.

It's really good but hard to clean the hair from it.
