Quality & Cost Effective
Purchased this case for a small rifle. The case is durable, stays closed and has ample interior space for accessories, a cleaning kit and additional mags. The foam is loose, which i fixed with some double sided tape. Very impressed with the price. Would buy again.

Good size for my Henry rifles and offers basic security!
I am able to carry two rifles in this case when I go to the range. The range requires the guns be in cases or bags and this works well. It is secure and strong. It has holes for a padlock which I use in the care. It is light weight with foam inside to cushion the weapons. I have other cases for pistols but this is the best carry mechanism for keeping firearms secure when traveling to the range. The capacity is perfect for two rifles and is well worth the money for basic security. I no longer have small children in my home but still want to keep weapons secure and this works for the rifles.

A Basic Carbine Case at a Fair Price
I picked this particular product based on its dimensions. All of the other hard-sided cases out there were a good bit bigger than what I needed - too long, in most cases. I needed a case that was better proportioned to accommodate a carbine-length rifle. When I ordered this case, I knew the fit would be extremely close. I'm happy to report that a Colt XM177E2 will JUST fit, with the stock extended and with a 20-round magazine inserted. (You'll have to put it in diagonally, as I have here, but the case WILL close and latch without any issues!) This case has two of the sliding type latches, on either side of the carrying handle (I prefer these to the snap-type closures). When I unboxed and opened the case for the first time, the foam lining had completely detached from the lid of the case. I saw two small (dime-sized?) dollops of adhesive had been used to set it in place, which was obviously insufficient to hold it. I used a couple of pieces of double-sided tape to fix that. Thus, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. You get what you pay for with these cases - I wasn't expecting Fort Knox at this price point. I just wanted a basic, no frills case. And that's what this is. I don't know that I would take it on any serious excursions, where it might get wet, or banged around too hard - there is no weather sealing on it, and the outer shell will compress a bit under moderate pressure. I would probably buy something a little more heavy duty than this, if the case were to be subjected to airport baggage handlers. But, for transport back and forth to the firing range, or for storage, it's just fine. One final note: While the length and width are perfect for this type of AR carbine, I feel like the case is a little deeper / thicker than it needs to be - by maybe an inch or so. Not the end of the world. But if the foam were a little more dense, the two pieces of material used to line the case could each be thinner, which would enable a shallower overall depth on each half of the outer shell.

The case is better than I expected really thick foam to hold my rifle secure looks well made glad I purchased it and the shipping was fast Now I don’t have to take my suppressor off every time I go somewhere Very pleased

Excellent purchase and price
Great price. Pelican style material. Was surprised at the quality. Works. My second review of a product on Amazon or any other item and I don't do this unless particularly satisfied. I would recommend this for weapon transportation.

Useful as a guitar case for small headless guitar of shape similar to Steinberger GL model.
Because a new guitar case for my small headless guitar would cost me $200 I tried to adapt this gun case to fit my guitar, and it fits very well indeed. The pick-foam that comes inside this case is adequate to cushion and protect this 6 pound guitar in the case, after I cut a guitar-shaped hole in the upper piece and leveled the finger-shaped protrusions from the lower piece. Cutting the guitar shaped hole with a razor knife (that with a long-extending blade) was easy, but leveling the finger-shaped protrusions was more tedious and time-consuming than I had imagined. There must be a better way to do this than using scissors but I don't know what it is. The time and tediousness in cutting away these finger-shaped protrusions leads me to downrate the case by 1 star. When this was done, I made a pocket in the case by attaching a zippered cloth case to the top with hook-and-loop tape. This is now done and the case appears more impervious to scratches, pokes and fractures than even the costly guitar case. However, it is not comfortable to carry the guitar in this case because there is a plastic seam with a hard plastic edge between the two halves of the handle, and this edge cuts into my fingers when I carry the guitar in this case. I now realize I can grind this edge flat and smooth, so this should not be a problem, but having to do this leads me to down rate it by one more star. 3 stars total. The guitar I am using this with is not a costly Steinberger GL model guitar, it is an imported guitar that has a similar shape but is not a clone. It took much more work and time to make that imported guitar playable and proper than to fix up this case--and fixing that guitar was worth the time and trouble. So, as a hobbyist but not a professional guitar seller, I believe that fixing this case is similarly worth the time and trouble. I doubt that a professional would find either project financially worthwhile.

Good Value in a Market w/Few Options [34.05"]
In a world where extremely flimsy "pdw" 👀 cases are upwards of $80 w/tax, this is a good buy. The closures are less than perfect, but superior to the competition in this product class. Foam is almost laughable, but additional foam is also only negligibly expensive. Shell is better than average and overall build is, again, better than the bigger brands that produce similar items. Haven't used for airline travel, but have transported my rifle to and from the range several times. Holds up just fine. With an extra four dollars-worth of craft foam, the rifle, extra mags, and a waterproof ammo can transport without moving inside the closed case.
