Silver clay is fun to work with - opens up a lot of new possibilities!
Nice silver clay! This was my first time using it & it worked perfect! This is a small amount so I would buy 2 to be sure you have enough for your project. It was fun & east to work with so I’ll be using it more! I can think of so many uses for it in jewelry making!

First time user, WILL buy again!
My mother passed away recently and I wanted a way to immortalize her touch. Being a crafty person, I figured I could probably make on of these myself and save about $200 rather than ordering one online. And it worked! The clay is extremely easy to work with. When you're making smaller items it can be quick to dry out, but just a little bit of water will make it workable again. If it sticks to your fingers while working it, just put some olive oil on a paper towel and then dampen your fingers in it. This is how we were able to get my mother's finger prints into the clay. Once it's dry (I put all of mine in the oven at 300 for about 10 minutes after they air dried for about an hour) you can use a BUTANE torch about 3 inches away from it to fire them if you don't have a kiln. I watched a few tutorials on YouTube and picked up on it quick! Then I just dipped them in some liver of sulfer to oxidize the silver, then buffed them with a dremel! They turned out perfect! With 2 of the 20 gram packs you can make about 4 or 5 this size!

Love and hate
So I have a love hate with this stuff. Iv worked with it several times. It’s better to use the syringed type to give more accurate detailing and not have it dry out as fast. This literally works like clay and dries super fast, adding a tiny drop of water here and there can help, but like clay it can be harder to mold and carve in the ways you wish especially if adding any gems. Best used for pendants like a finger print simple with a small hole in the top for the chain loop. Rings are a no due to needing more support than just the silver for the banding. After awhile, due to the softness of the silver even after hammered a bit to strengthen it it still will wear down and your loosing product every time you wear unless you find a good clear coat to keep it semi safe. It’s a fun mess around product but most of the time sadly after a few wears even with a nice solid coating they all seem to break. So I use the left over breakage to melt for bars. Knowing is this is truely real silver is questioning but it is a really cool fun activity to mess with. The pricing however is crazy for what you get and how hard it can be to work with. Maybe working with quick molds can help me more successful to anyone trying it in the future.

Good price for the product!
Shipping was quick! Looks like it should but haven’t tried to make anything yet just make sure you read directions before use because there is a few ways to fire it.

This is a fantastic price for a great quality item. I have looked at many websites and this is the best value I have seen anywhere for this amount of the product. Obviously with it coming from Japan you can't order it as a last minute buy , but I've ordered 2 lots so far and they've both arrived within a couple of weeks , which I was most impressed with. I shall continue to purchase from this store as long as it stays at this great price!
