Delicious value
Essential for making milk tea or other herbal preparations- an incredible value compared to the boxed teabags and this brand's blend is far tastier than generic bulk tulsi! Very fresh and high quality.

Great substitute for iced black tea.
I make this tea in extra strong batches, and then chill it and drink it iced. It tastes similar to black tea, except has a nicer aroma, and without the sharp bitter note, and none of the nausea I get from drinking black tea. Also caffeine free of course. So glad I found it, and can buy it by the pound!

Really nice
I have no idea what tulsi should smell/ taste like, however this has a really nice taste and a wonderful smell. It has a deep wonderful taste, kinda like cloves but really good.

Blend of three Tulsi varieties: Rama, Krishna, Vana = more benefits
A blend of three Tulsi varieties: Rama, Krishna, Vana = has more benefits than just the one type. The re sealable bag was surprisingly large. Only tried it once so far- it says it is good for stress relief, immune support, digestion, calming balance.

The best Tulsi tea out there
My husband and I drink tulsi tea daily. He introduced me to it and I was immediately hooked. I quickly realized I wanted a stronger brew than the bags would provide and looked for loose leaf. This is it! The things I like about Organic India's tulsi are the flavor, the cut of the leaves, and that it's organic and sustainably grown. It blends all three types (Rama, Krishna, Vana tulsi) and I think that's the reason why it has such a smooth flavor. That is hard to find, usually you just find one Tulsi variety and the flavors can vary wildly. I've had Tulsi teas that taste like licorice, peppermint, lemon, or cannabis (most of which, I didn't like.) Organic India's doesn't have any of these flavors and it tastes really good and smooth. Another thing is the leaves. They're chopped really finely which leads to a good brew. Probably more surface area, I don't know, but I can make a brew from these that is really dark with not much leaf. Sometimes other Tulsi looseleaf varieties have seeds, flowers, or even sand in them, which ends up in my cup. This one doesn't have any of that. And of course, if you're consuming something daily then all the more reason to choose organic. Not only that, but less farmers and people in the area exposed to pesticides and herbicides. And why would this awesome plant need to be treated with pesticides anyway, it can defend itself from bugs. It just makes sense. Anyway, look no further for a really good tulsi tea! Try the tea bags first if you aren't sure if you like Tulsi, and if you like it get an infused and come back for the looseleaf stuff.
