Panthenol 4% Serum - Vitamin B5 Facial Hydrating Serum with Aloe Vera, Hyaluronic Acid, White Tea Extract - For All Skin Types, 1 Fl Oz (30ml)

Being oily and very acne prone makes it difficult to moisturize. I was on accutane and desperately looking for something to help with the dryness. This did the trick. No breakouts and even feels soothing to calm my redness. Just make sure you give it enough time to dry. B5 serums can be tacky but they are wonderful if you can get through the first 15 minutes. Also wears well under make-up if permitted to dry appropriately. I was looking for something to replace my La Roche B5 serum b/c of the price and scent. This product is it! On my second bottle now. No breakouts since discontinuing the accutane too! I use about two drops with my other Cos De Baha serums (Niacinamide 20%/4% Zinc, Snail Mucin, and the matryxl serum Vitamin C with MSM prior to). Skin looks plumper, smoother, hydrated, less red, and feels amazing. This is also perfect for sandwiching retinol products. It makes the flaking/peeling on the skin hardly noticeable.

So I use this morning and night. I spritz some of the Caudilie grape water (which is super hydrating ) then tap this into my skin, wait like 1-2 mins follow by a lightweight oil, then moisturizer, followed up of coarse by sunscreen. For some this while skin is still damp for washing, waiting for it to absorb and then following up with a moisturizer may be enough. I have extremely dry, sensitive skin and have heard that Niacinamide can sometimes irritate skin. I have experienced no irritation whatsoever with this product. It does as it should; which is to help skin retain moisture. If you live a very dry climate this may not work well for you. I live in the North East part of the USA so tons of humidity here. I love this product as it doesn't have a lot of extra ingredients , and the price point is fantastic! This is my new go to serum. (In the past is was using the PTR HA serum for a lot more $ with similar results, but i think this is a somewhat better product because of the Niacinamide anyway lower price or not).

Unfortunately I had to discontinue using this little serum because I was getting so many breakouts, I used it in combination with the Azelaic acid serum but I just kept more breakouts all over my forehead and around my mouth until I decided to stop usage all together. There may be an ingredient that’s too heavy for oily skin, but I will say this- if you do not have any acne issues and your skin is dry, it’s a great moisturizer! My skin was very moisturized just with one drop to cover my face. Just one drop was able to moisturize my whole face which is incredible, I didn’t see any flaking around my nose which is a yearly problem with my skin, I’m truly disappointed it didn’t workout in the long run for me.

This is a pretty effective product. That texture is good. It’s not poor clogging it’s sticky it’s lightweight and it’s amazing to put it in your skin care.

This hyaluronic acid is excellent to use alone on skin or when doing microneedling at home. It moisturizes and plumps skin. When microneedling it glides and calms the skin.

I recommend this serum for those of you who can't tolerate higher percentages of niacinamide. 2% is the perfect amount for us folks with sensitive skin. The combo of B5 and niacinamide smooths skin and gives it an airbrushed look. I saw an improvement in my skin after 3 weeks of use. I wouldn't say this serum is particularly moisturizing, so if you have dry skin you should layer a moisturizer over it.

This serum was bought on a whim and it most definitely has softened my face up! I can’t see a difference in lines or anything like that but the positive is no break outs from it so far!

This stuff is amazing. It's very thick and covers my trentinoin very well. I was finally able to use the trentinoin daily because I was using this serum as moisturizer. There is no scent and I thi k it is a much better product than The Ordinary.
