These nail files are efficient and clean and easy to use! They are gorgeous and elegant and would also make a great gift. They come with velvet sleeves and they fit snuggly to the files. I will never buy another sandpaper file again. Great investment at only $10 considering they are superior to other files, you get two sizes, they are beautiful, and you don't have to purchase another nail file.

I bought this set 3 years ago, and they still work perfectly! Having a set of 2 is really nice, and the smaller one is perfect for your purse. They look really different since they are glass, and the crystals make them feel like a small extravagance. These files give me a very smooth nail edge, and they work just as well today as they did when I first bought them. Buying more to give as gifts!

I purchased another well known brand of glass file for my Mother and myself about two years ago. We both love them and they are fantastic for those of us with thin and/or fragile nails that break easily. They also file down false nails quickly and easily. As long as you don't drop them, they will last for life as far as I can see. All you have to do is tap it on your leg or wash it to get the nail dust out, and it's ready to go. My first one hasn't lost any of it's filing ability, and I use it a lot. My only issue with it is a minor one; the glass is thicker than I would like at times. I took a chance and ordered a set of the Mont Bleu for my Sister as a Christmas gift. She loves them! They are a little blingy, but not tacky, they work great, and you get two! I finally talked myself into buying a set of my own and was pleasantly surprised that they are thinner than my first file, much prettier, and work just as well. Their thinness may make them a little more fragile, but I keep mine in their protective sleeves and make sure they stay in a pocket in my purse. It's minimal care and they seem to be holding up fine. If one breaks they are inexpensive enough to replace. I plan on using my first file as my workhorse, the small Mont Bleu in my purse, and the larger one around the house. Glad I took the chance! :)

I have used my glass nail file for years. I ordered one of this set as a gift. I ordered this one as a backup for me. The larger one is smaller, shorter & thinner than my old file. Also, my old one is more like a traditional nail file, one side is rough & the other side is finer. These files are different because they are rough @ the base & get finer towards the tip of the file. I wasn't sure this would work for me but it isn't a deal breaker. Also, the small nail file is so tiny as to be almost useless. There's only about an inch of useable filing space. I did take a star off because of the smaller file & also because they are thin & I expect them to snap with just regular use. If that doesn't happen after a year then I'll try to remember to come back to give the other star.

I was converted to glass files as a decade ago. I'm someone with thinner nails and my best friend has the strongest nails - glass work wonderfully for both of us. The grain size is so fine that you can file in both directions. A good glass file should last you a very long time with the grit in tact. Wash regularly, pat dry, and you should be good to go. The cheaper files sometimes only have grit on one side and lose their grit very quickly. My hubby accidentally sat on my good files and that is the only reason I had to hunt to find the good files again. I've had a few hits and misses with buying glass files, so I decided to wait a while after purchasing before I wrong this review to see how these files held up. The verdict? These rock. They feel sturdy, but they're thin enough to work with any size nail. The grit is everything you want and the velvet sleeves do a good job of keeping the files from breaking. Having the small one to toss in the front of my bag and the larger one at home with my nail stuff turned out to be all I needed. The wrong files help my nails split and break on the sides and chip more on the top - I have had none of those issues since I started using these. The price is worth it for the sheer fact that they last for so long. The files look exactly as they're represented in ad and I'm actually more a fan of the embellishments than I thought I would. If something happens to this seller and you can't buy these specific files, there is still hope. In the sea of glass files you'll find on Ebay and Amazon, the best glass files all have one thing in common: they are all bedazzled. I'm not kidding - the key to finding the best files without having them in front of you to test beforehand, is to find the ones people spent time adding 3D embellishments to (a dip in glitter on the handle does not count). Mont Bleu has proven themselves to me as a file brand in both quality and presentation, so I'd be willing to have faith in their non-embellished options as well.

Love it. Does a great job filing, doesn't split your nails. I love the look, so chic, and love that i have the smaller one for my handbag. If I could give it a 10, I would.

Excellent quality. The crystals are my favorite part. I ordered the pink first and it is beautiful. I thought I lost the mini one so I ordered another set in purple. The purple is less bright and not as impressive. I later found the pink one so here is a photo of both of them side by side. They look better in real life than my photo, but relative brightness is as shown. As for the actual use, they are definitely a big step up from the metal files I used to use. After doing several nails the surface gets covered in filings, but a quick rinse and it’s as good as new. Big plus is they are not metal and don’t trigger airport security. I had my old metal file confiscated in Mexico City airport just days after getting this one. Good riddance.

Got as gift for daughter and happy to say these are differently good. Not cheap ones

I bought these ages ago and have now lost the bigger one of the two, but they are sturdy, beautiful, smooth and worth the money, didn't damage my nails at all, feels like butter filling my nails. Will be repurchasing again.
