I have been using this type of microscopes for about 20 years from all different manufacturers. At work, I use Scienscope and Luxo. When I decided to buy one for myself, I found Amscope. I was a little apprehensive about buying one from a vendor that I have not heard of but I decided to try one since their prices were much lower. I am happy to report that the microscope itself is excellent. I can not really tell the difference in optical quality from ones that cost 2x or 3x. The build quality is also excellent althought the Luxo that I use at work moves more smoothly and feels definitely more expensive. The 5M pixel camera that came with it is not very good so I called Amscope to see if I can return it. They issued me an RMA without any hassel which was a very pleasant experience. I can just use a Point-and-shoot digital camera above an eyepiece and the result was much better. The LED ring light that came with the system is also excellent. The assembly instruction is poor but I didn't need it since I basically knew how to put it together. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble it. So overall, I would have no hesitation buying or recommending Amscope microscopes, just not their cameras.

This is by far the biggest investment I have made with online purchases but what a purchase it was, it has improve my ability to see detail in my work that I could not even begin to imagine before. I do a lot of very precision work on electronics as well as precision time pieces and with the help of this microscope it has made doing my work a whole lot easier, I didn't know what I was missing. It has high quality optics and precise movement when adjusting or focusing on your work, in my opinion you get a lot for the price. The only flaw of this unit, which I was already expecting after reading other people's feedback, is the assembly instructions, this microscope has to be put together and I must concord with other feedbacks that there just isn't any instructions on how to built it. But with a little imagination, photos from the internet, and patience it can be done.

Plenty of room to work using the .5 Barlow. Simple assembly, LED is super bright. Plenty of physical adjustments. Can sit comfortably and work all day. Fits on my rather small (39”x24”) Workbench. Stable yet not too heavy. Super optics. Haven’t used the camera yet.

Microscope is fantastic and worth every penny. The camera path is not good and 'almost' useless. The software is working well on my machine. Running Windows 7 pro.

this is an AMAZING scope for an incredibly cheap price!! it is very solid, stable and well made. LOVE IT!!!!

I was very excited about receiving this microscope. What a surprise- The included manual has NOTHING to do with this model. There is NO MARKING on the microscope to indicate what model it is. No wonder the seller says he has no idea about warranty. What warranty? There is no paperwork to tell you this is what you have received. How can they sell a product like this?? There is no instruction on how to set it up. No instruction on how to use it. Nothing to tell you how to set up the camera and how to use it. I will not recommend to buy this.

The stand makes this way too heavy. It needs a different stand option.

The microscope itself is a good value. The camera is nothing to write home about. In addition to providing mediocre images, it failed within a few months, luckily under warranty. However, the replacement camera has an issue that has not yet been resolved.

Boa relação de custo / qualidade. Excelente para electrónica. Permite um trabalho confortável com a iluminação led de 144 leds.

This is an excellent microscope and the camera pictures are as good as the lenses. Do not be put off by the lack of any instructions. There is plenty of good advise on line, on how to put it together and use it. I would recommend this microscope for first time users. Just remember that is very large and heavy and will not sit on a standard table.
