So Delicious and Fresh
This foie gras is so tasty, buttery soft and fresh. And you get a lot! It's so delicious on crackers and also great on a slice of French bread, and fantastic on a real, ( not those awful lardy croissants sold in most stores) but a real buttery croissant. It arrived earlier than I expected and was in bubble wrap and a good sturdy box. I'm VERY happy with this purchase!

Great for tin!
I was nervous to try this product but my husband bought it for me as a Christmas gift. I really really enjoyed it! We've only ever enjoyed foie gras in a restaurant, but this one had the best reviews and we felt it was the best value. We opened the can and sliced thin rounds. You definitely want to serve it. Room temperature. We opened both ends so that the foie would just slide out. Topped with cracked black pepper and coarse sea salt. We put fig jam on the side and toasted some brioche in a pan with butter. Is it as good as the restaurants? Just one notch below! I would say very very good. Well worth the purchase if you take care to service in a restaurant style.

Scrumptious. I'll keep ordering this to my home until January when it becomes illegal in NYS. Then, I'll ship it to friends in NJ as an occasional dinner party appetizer gift. My best dinner party ever: Rougie on French bread appetizer, duck breast with (Trust me, this works!) spicy Montreal steak seasoning, buttery Brussels sprouts, Malbec, lemon sorbet.

Meh. Get what you pay for
I knew it was too good to be true. Not a bad product. But not much flavor compared to other locally made mousses. But that is reflected in the price. Very creamy and rich but something is missing.

Rougie - Mousse of Duck Foie Gras
I really enjoy eating Foie Gras. This Duck Foie Gras, entitled Rougie, has 2% truffles and is just incredibly delicious. It's a product of Canada, but brings memories of France whenever I eat it. It is easily obtainable from Amazon and it is reasonably priced. I've never had any better foie gras except when eating outside on the streets of France!!!
