Made my quarantine self cut effortless!!
I'm no barber but during this global pandemic, barbers are considered non-essential and ordered closed at least where I live. It's been over a month and I couldn't take it anymore. The reviews were pretty good but what drew me to The Babyliss brand was the construction, design and the accessories. It came with 8 guards which was important to me as a self cut beginner. Indeed all the help I can get. It also came with a small screwdriver for adjustments, oil, a blade cover and a small brush. I charged it for 3 hrs and gave it a drop of oil like the instructions said and went to work. At first, I was kind of worried because these weren't really sounding like clippers in the shop. I realized however that these are just smooth and quiet. They glide through my hair, no pulling or snagging. Guards were on snug and tight. I also realized during cutting that it only took a few passes to get my hair down to the length I wanted. Also, when tapering hair was removed pretty evenly without having to go against the grain. I used the Andis T Outlined for edge up. I immediately noticed that the To Outliners were way hotter after some extended use compared to the Babyliss trimmers. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and with my self cut haircut. These also evened out my beard nicely. These bad boys just might save me some time and money.

Good clipper .. but….
So I’m a barber. I’ve owned lots of clippers. This one is too large for my hands, I am a petite female though. I wanted to return it and screwed up on timing so I couldn’t. But I will keep and continue using. A huge issue for me is the battery life. I have the gold trimmer like these, I have no issues doing 14 hair cuts over an 8 hour period and it last just fine. Not these clippers. I’ve gotten to where I have to charge them when I leave for lunch or they don’t last. Other wise they cut great. They are pretty quite. Oh the guards are flimsy and cheap but luckily all my wahl guards fit it or else I’d be screwed cause one broke a few days after use. I’ve never had that happen in my career. I miss my wahls. : (

Do not buy product
I bought them for my first salon job, after 2 months of having them they started overheating, I sprayed some cool car on it and it cooled down.I was cleaning it because it was getting clogged and pulling my customers hair, when I put the blade back on it became really loud and sounds like it going to break when I put a guard on it. The overheating has not stopped. The seller does nothing to help with the money that was lost.

Best Clippers I've had -Licensed cosmetologist
I am a licensed cosmetologist whose been cutting hair for 5 years now. I've tried many different Whal clippers and even Oster. This is by far my favorite. Almost as lightweight as the Whal's. I work in full service salon and do 3 to 5 men's cuts a day usually, battery last me a week, and if it dies during a haircut I can easily charge while cutting. Beautiful color definitely worth the extra $$. Quieter then Osters, almost as quiet as Whal's.
