Meguiar's Professional Glass Cleaner Concentrate D12001 - Professional Strength Glass Cleaner for a Streak-Free Shine that's Residue-Free, 128 Oz, 1 Gallon

I don't always write glowing product reviews but when I do they are about this glass cleaner! Let me start by saying I love my car but I am a smoker. Nicotine smears have been haunting me for as long as I have smoked. Windex, Stoners, 3M I have tried them all and still after washing the window time and time again it is streakville! Enter our hero it arrived well packed (these people have obviously done this a time or two) and in a reasonable amount of time. It is fall and the sun is glaring bad on the windows in the morning and afternoon and really showing me all these nicotine streaks that other cleaners just leave behind. So I quickly mixed up a batch of this stuff to see what it is made of. It mixes at 10 to 1 with water and it is a gallon jug so believe me, you will have plenty for a long long while. While mixing the Mrs told me how nice it smells...and she has a very sensitive and disapproving nose. It smells like bubble gum, but it is a nice light smell not heavy. Anyways out to the car I go with the new product and some clean microfiber towels. I can not describe my delight when a Karate Kid moment happened...wipe on wipe off no streaks! Mr Miyagi approves! I was so jazzed I came back in the house, and wanted to use this magic product on everything in the house. So I began to put it through it's paces in the kitchen. Windows obviously are no problem. Stove front...the spots that were pretty clean already it did well with. When it encountered grease the magic stops, but hey it isnt it's purpose. The microwave front cane out nice and shiny. Tile was middle of the road, and the refrigerator front also cleaned nicely from it. With some field tests under my belt I Iwas sold. I opened up my bottle of Windex poured it down the drain and mixed another batch to keep inside for Windows and mirrors. I love this stuff! I have used all the other products mentioned at the beginning of the review indoors in similar field tests and none of those ever made it into the house save Windex. This stuff works! I would add that microfiber is the only way to go. Quit wasting your money on paper towels. Buy a half a dozen not super cheap but not super expensive microfiber towels. Wash them together and forget about the paper towels and save the money. They also do a far superior job with streaks and spots with way less elbow grease. Great smell, lots of it, works great, will buy more in 5 years when I run out!

This isn't the regular ammonia soap water window cleaners chemistry. Mixed 10 water to 1 concentrate This stuff just soaks up dirt and streaks. Fast on home window cleaning too. Being that I don't know how it works I would not use it on lenses, plastics or painted objects. It just might take off the coating.

This stuff is great. We use it on our cars and in the house, windows, mirrors… great product.

Very good glass cleaner

This product is an excellent glass cleaner. Considering one gallon of this product can be diluted 10:1 it gives you a total of 11 gallons the price is an excellent price. You can use this on any type of glass, tinted, standard, etc. Consider this, a bottle of 24oz Meguiars glass cleaner is listed at $5.55. One gallon is 128 ounces, multiply by 11 and you have 1408oz. of glass cleaner for just about 24.00. You would have to buy over 58 small bottles of the NXT glass cleaner to equal about the same amount of glass cleaning solution throughout the course of the 1400+ ounces. $320+ dollars for cleaning windows? The $24.00 is an ENORMOUS savings that makes justifying this purchase and having to mix your own ratio at home more than well worth the small added trouble! Cleans without streaks. Tip: Get yourself a good glass cleaning microfiber towel. You can wash and re-use time after time and eliminate dealing with paper towels. Use this both for your automotive needs and your in home needs to really get your usage/moneys worth. I own my own automotive detailing business. If I purchased small bottles time after time I would be out of business because it makes no financial sense to purchase the small containers at all. I wouldn't recommend this product for price alone, it works excellent. There is NO need to use more than the 10:1 ratio. This product is extremely concentrated. I would recommend handling it with a latex glove. Honestly, if you use more than what's necessary it will only do more harm than good because of the sliminess of the product when not properly diluted. Keep it away from your face, don't intentionally breathe it in either.

This is a great product. The smell is amazing and leaves the windows streak free and clean. You can dilute and make plenty from a gallon. I don't just use this stuff on my cars but also at home on mirrors and glass.

I clean plenty of cars, it’s great to have these concentrate formula to save on money, I use this 10:1 formula glass cleaner and it works well cleaning the car windows, safe on tint, and it smells good too!

Certes ce n'est pas le même produit que le Meguiar's grand public "Clarté Parfaite" qui sent la banane et qui coûte un bras, mais le produit vitre obtenu en mélangeant précisément 1 dose de concentré et 9 doses d'eau déminéralisée : EST EFFICACE ET SANS TRACE. Le parfum est différent, pas déplaisant. (en fait il n'y a probablement pas de parfum, c'est juste l'odeur du produit) Ce bidon donne accès à 37 L de produit vitre, ce qui devrait me faire quelques années ...

So, nun war auch mein letzter Meguiars NXT Glass Cleaner alle. Leider bietet Meguiars dafür seit ein paar Jahren keinen richtigen Ersatz mehr an. Daher habe ich mich in der Profiecke umgesehen und bin wieder bei Meguiars fündig geworden! Es scheint sich um das gleiche Reinigungsmittel wie beim NXT zu handeln, nur mit Brombeer-Duft (leckerer als NXT!) und halt als Konzentrat. Und nun ich bin noch zufriedener als mit dem NXT: Eigentlich will der Hersteller nicht, dass das Konzentrat auch von Laien verwendet wird. Ist auch klar, denn aus der gelieferten Gallone Konzentrat (=3,8 liter) kann man bei Mischung 1:10-1:20 sage und schreibe 40-80l Reinigungsflüssigkeit herstellen. Das sind pro liter dann läppische 40-80 cent, da kommt schon beim Preis kein Sidolin mehr mit. Und das Zeuch funktioniert nicht nur bei der Wagenwäsche alle 14 Tage, sondern auch super an den Fensterscheiben zu Hause und in der Scheibenwaschanlage. Weil es keinen Spiritus enthält, greift es dabei nicht einmal die Dichtungen an, wie das manchmal Scheibenreiniger so an sich haben. Die Reinigungswirkung der Mischung ist super. Mit MF-Tuch bekommt man nach kurzem Einwirken ruckzuck auch Insektenreste und Vogelkot prima weg. Ich habe sogar die Klebereste der CH-Vignette damit ohne großen Aufwand runter bekommen. Ich bilde mir auch ein, dass nach der Reinigung Schmutzwasser viel besser abläuft und die Scheibe nicht so schnell wieder einsaut wie bei anderen Reinigern. Nicht so toll wie bei der Nanoversiegelung im Auto, aber dennoch fühlbar. Das ist mir v.a. daheim bei den flachen Dachfenstern im OG aufgefallen - klare Sicht auch bei Regen hatten wir da bisher noch nie für so lange Zeit :) Empfehlung für die Scheibenreinigung daheim oder bei der Wagenwäsche: 1:14 mischen, nicht stärker. Sonst gibt es ganz leichte Schlieren, die man aber zum Glück nur in der Sonne sieht. Empfehlung für die Scheibenwaschanlage: 1:20 reicht völlig. Sicherheitshinweise: Beim Abfüllen und Mischen des Konzentrats wäre ich trotz allem etwas vorsichtiger - das Zeug hat schon verdünnt eine wirklich starke Wirkung und ich habe keine Ahnung, was es unverdünnt anrichten kann. Lt. Sicherheitshinweisen: "Flüssigkeit und Dampf entzündbar, Kann Schläfrigkeit und Benommenheit verursachen, Verursacht Hautreizungen, Verursacht schwere Augenreizung, Schädigt die Organe, Gesundheitsschädlich bei Einatmen". Schutzbrille und Handschuhe sollte man daher beim Umfüllen schon verwenden und ansonsten halt mit Belüftung arbeiten. Das empfinde ich aber nicht als unzumutbare Einschränkung, wenn ich alle paar Monate beim Umfüllen mal etwas vorsichtiger sein muss.
