They work
These are pretty good. I didn’t think I would find ones close to the way the older ones were made these do the job and hold up even jeans. Would recommend!

Perfect replacement for imperfect bag clips
We have purchased many bag clips over the years - all of them from different brands and at different price points. All of them broke within a few months just by being dropped on the floor once or twice. We finally decided to give clothespins a chance and I got these ones in April 2023. What a difference! I wish we would have gotten them sooner. We have had them for almost 2 months now and we have used a total of 10 - so we still have a bunch left. They are extremely sturdy and work perfect as bag clips. They are also super inexpensive in comparison to actual bag clips. They may not look as pretty - but whatever. I don't think they are going to be breaking any time soon and we have a bunch left in case one or two do.

wooden clothes pins
I use these wooden clothes pins for chip clips. And these particular clothes pins are really good. They are long and the pinch is strong. In fact, they are the strongest wooden clothes pins I've purchased in years. Fully recommend these no matter what your use! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 25,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

I actually use these to HANG WET LAUNDRY
These are a little longer than most and have grooves in the wood at the end and are easier to open because of these design differences. Since moving to a place with a clothesline, these are my second purchase of this type of clothespin, and the first ones (shorter, no grooves) tended to come apart, both in my hand, and sometimes while in use on the line. I grew up hanging clothes, my mom always had the other kind of wood clothespins (one piece, no spring). I looked for those, but the ones I found had negative reviews about width of the gap, breaking easily, etc. As stated, the OTHER ones I bought had several come apart right from the get go, in my hand, at first use. That has not happened with these, nor any coming apart with a couple of uses. You do have to make sure the two sides are lined up, as it is when they are starting to twist and not be matched up, is when they will fall apart.

I thing the pegs should work just fine for hobby work. However I use them for cloth hanging. For that they are of inferior quality. The problems lies in the spring where material was skipped by spacing out the turns of the spring steel. This means that the peg easily comes apart if lateral pressure is applied eg. when the thoumb and fingers pinching the peg are not perfectly lined up. A problem that could easily be fixed by using a tighter spring "like in the old days".

Classic and work as such. Happy with these. I actually used them to hang up solar string lights in camp. Did not falter and held up to lots of wind and rain.
