Perfect replacement.
Bought a used travel trailer and one of the first things I did was to flush the water heater and replace the anode. The old anode was mostly gone and I flushed a ton of build-up out of the tank. This anode was an exact fit.

pay a few extra bucks and get this one!
Admittedly other brands sell you two for about the same price, but this one truly lasts much longer and is quality and we use our RV all the time. Pay a few more bucks and get this one.

Anode Rod
This anode rod fit perfectly in our 6 gallon travel trailer water heater. Flush the tank out and remove the sediment build up. Install some Teflon tape. Put the new rod in and you’re good to go!

Good product
Very good anode for RV water heater. My only complaint is the cost.

Good Product - Funny story
I bought a used RV. It was our first. Got it home and was doing some cleaning and general maintenance on it when I found the anode rod out of the hot water heater. Now I have never had to deal with this before so I think that the junk on there needs to come off so I put it in a bucket with vinegar. My buddy who has been RVing for a few years starts to laugh at me. I had cleaned it down to the little copper wire in the middle. He said it should be large looking. So I get on Amazon and look it up and sure enough here it is. Live and learn. Bottom line: It fits our RV hot water heater and was a great price. Check them about once a year and flush out your tank when you change it. It keeps the tank from rusting.

No more rotten egg smell!
New camper owner and had no idea what was causing my hot water to stink. We couldn’t use it, no showers, nothing because yuck. We thought it was the campground water supply that stunk. Google search and found out it was the magnesium anode causing it and we should get aluminum. Problem solved immediately upon replacing. This is great!

Cheap protection.
Magnesium protection for aluminum water heater. Mine last about 9 months full time. I know it's time to replace when temperature recovery slows. 7/8" socket, 6 inch extension and a 24 inch breaker bar make easy replacement. Be sure to power flush the magnesium hydroxide/carbonate gel from the heater. There will be a lot of it in the heater, this takes space, reducing the capacity. It breaks down easier than calcium deposits which it prevents. Another ounce of prevention item. Worth every penny.
