Well thought out idea for truck storage!
I just purchased and installed the set for driver and passenger side storage units. The installation is very easy and takes just minutes! If you're not sure on the instructions, there are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how. As for the storage units themselves, they look like they should hold up for years of handy use. There's a decent amount of capacity and it also has a small removable shelf that can be stored on the top of either end of the unit. The best thing is how handy these are. There's a lever on the outside bottom, when pulled allows it to fully swing the unit all the way to over the tailgate making for very easy access. Also, these units are totally removable themselves! Which is a handy feature if for some reason you nee to use the full bed of the truck for a project. Once done, they simply reinstall in seconds. The units themselves are lockable. There also comes with the unit, a separate piece which installs in seconds that prevents removal of unit while this piece is in place. It can be removed quickly and easily to allow removal of the unit again. I also have a hard retractable tonneau cover which locks along with the tailgate. The storage units are designed to fit even if you have a tonneau cover plus they set a little off the bed of the truck. Overall, these are very handy and well thought out, I only wish I could have purchased these a long time ago!

Ease of install.
I watched a YouTube video on the installation, and I was no more than five minutes for my install. Everything lined up as it should. It swings open for easy access to the inside and to lock down my tonneau cover.

Great product, a few negatives
This has mixed reviews. I have had it about 6 months now and can give a good review: Pros: Easy to install Plenty of room inside Easy to remove if needed Can still fit about 4" of 4x8 sheet goods under it Swings out easy Lockable Convenient Water tight Cons: Must be removed for lots of sheet goods Can only open about 60% of the top if it is no swung out. I can still reach in and get a strap out without swinging it Covers the tie down point on the bed of the truck (can use the lock clasp as a tie down point with light pressure) Gas and solvents WILL dissolve the box. I used Goof-Off and it softened the plastic. Once dry it was hard again Little tray inside does not stay in place and falls down inside box easily Reviews are mixed on here. It is easy to remove and toss in the truck if you have a lot of sheet goods. I don't even lock the lid, it stays shut. I keep the following in it: 6 tie downs Foldable lug wrench Tow ball Trailer 7pin adapter screwdriver wrench bungees It is about half full. It swings easily, goes on and off easily and works great. I would like to see a model made from aluminum for another $100. I would recommend this to anyone

Not worth it
The box is great but there are many things I don't like about it and for $200+ I would not recommend it. 1. It blocks the light for the bed. 2. Because of how the bed is made it does not sit on top of the wheel well and you do loose a few inches of bed space. If you add both sides you loose a lot of bed sapce.Look at pictures. 3. You can take it out of the bed and take it with you BUT... no handle to carry. This product claims to hold up to 75 lbs. I cannot imagine being able to load this with 75 lbs and not having some sort of handle to carry it out and since it has an odd shape it would be hard to carry. 4. Locks are cheap. Not the quality expected on a $200+ box. 5. Cup holders and tray are very shallow. You put any drink there and with any minimal movement it will fall. 6. I'd you have a bed cover that you have to hook to the edge of the bed for it to close the box sits too high for the handle to clip onto the bed. Pros: 1. Extremely easy install. 5-10 minutes max. 2. Holds quite a bit of gear 3. The swing out feature is great. UPDATE - After using this item for a few days I can confidently say that it is NOT WORTH IT! If you have a bed cover on your truck DO NOT BUY THIS! You would need to open the cover everytime you want to open the case. The cover get in the way when opening this item. It's just not worth the hazzle or the prize for something not too functional.

Very happy so far. Easy install, and holds a decent amount of stuff.
A friend purchased one of these for his new truck, and at the time I didn't think too much of it. However, after adding a tonneau cover to my truck and now having a kid with a permanently mounted car seat base in the back seat, plus an 85lb Golden Retriever that goes pretty much everywhere with us eating up my back seat, getting to the "truck stuff" that I had in plastic bins under the rear seat became an issue as in my truck (2006 Chevy 2500HD) the rear seat has to fold forward to gain full access under the seat. In my case, with the car seat and dog seat cover installed it was a huge PITA to get the seat up all the time, so I remembered my buddy showing me this swing case. Mounting it was extremely simple and easy. Six screws and your done! It looks great, and fits quite a bit of stuff. I keep jumper cables, bungee's, ratchet straps, and a hitch ball in there among other stuff. No more dealing with getting to this stuff under the seat anymore, and it also put all the items that would rattle on bumps out of the cab which was nice too. Definitely happy with the Swing Case, and would recommend to others. As another commenter mentioned and I would like to echo as it was very helpful to me, IF YOU TOW A TRAILER AND HAVE A BED SIDE PLUG DONT GET THE DRIVERS SIDE VERSION. I almost ordered the drivers side version by mistake, but luckily saw the comment and ordered the passenger side one instead. The drivers side one would've blocked my 5th wheel power plug and mean I'd have to remove the swing case each time I towed, which defeats the usefulness of it.

Flimsier than you're thinking.
Easy install, fit well, smooth sliding, smooth engagement to click back to the bed wall. My main 2 issues, are the box is flimsier than it looks. I was thinking it was a much harder polymer type plastic, like a Glock, or at least that of a case power tools come in. Its not, it's much softer, much more flexible, and you can easily bend the top/side to unlock if you wanted to. The other is the "lock" that you put in between the hinges to make it stop from swinging out too far. Mine is ill-fitting, doesn't work properly, and can pretty much be pulled out with some light force.

Easy to install, and you can rig it with a lock
I didn't buy it from here because Amazon sent me the wrong one, but I did buy one for my 2020 Silverado from another site, so I'll leave a review in case it's helpful. Installation was simple. I took my time and double checked everything, so it took 5-10 minutes. Even though this model doesn't have an integrated lock on the mounting hardware, you can rig a cable lock as a theft deterrent. This box renders the middle tie-down useless, so I looped a 4-foot long 3/8" steel cable through itself around the middle tie down, then ran it through the hasp on the box's mounting plate. The box can still swing the full length, and the extra cable length stays wound up and hidden behind the box. Just slap a lock on the exposed cable loop, and you're done. True, someone can cut the cable, but it would be easier to just break the plastic lock off the top of the box. The only turn-off with this box is that it's completely overpriced. On my previous truck, I had an aluminum over-the-wheel-well box that was twice as large and was $70 cheaper. But this is REALLY convenient. It is very much out of the way, and if it does get in the way, you can quickly and easily remove it.
